Gazc
Giving this a bump, 6pm start avoid defeat tonight and we qualify for the semis as group winners. Team line up as normal Chris Harris, Ashton Boughen, Dan Thompson, Leon Flint, Kyle Howarth, Freddy Hodder, Max Perry.

InTheDeepStuff
Should be some good battles this evening, Harris v Cook, Thompson v Kemp and Howarth v Kildemand, plus Smith wanting to prove a point down at reserve, could be very close if Tigers top 5 aren’t all at 100%

Boughen v Hagon and the Reserves. Hagon rates this as one of his favourite tracks and won the u21 last season. Boughen can look absolutely brilliant in one race, then looks like he's never rode a bike. So it will depend which rider turns up. As for the reserves, Smith should walk this hands down. So it has the makings of a very interesting meeting. btw. Would it not be better to put Hagon at No2? I think he has a better chance of scoring pts in that position and Hume has more experience than Hagon and therefor should be able to handle No3 a bit better. MB723
Should be a close meeting, Cookie, Hagon and Drew are strong here and Hume and Smith have also had good meetings as home riders. Kildeman should also do well. If Boughen and Flint are going well though Glasgow might have too much power for the Bandits. Hopefully the track is good tonight, BSN have chosen a good meeting to stream.

It has been dry and sunny not overly warm but pleasant enough , track prep shouldn’t pose too many problems so no reason not to prepare a good surface with some dirt on it hopefully. "Track prep shouldn't pose too many problems". Then why do I currently look like one of the sand people from star wars? A bit more water on the track wouldn't go amiss
Nickinho
I spoke too soon but it was as I expected. The tractor came out and sprinkled a dribble of water on the outer tip of the third bend and then drove around aimlessly for four laps before disappearing. I've sprayed more aftershave under my armpits than the tractor sprayed on track.

I can never fathom why, in this country, the inside never seems to be watered once a meeting starts 🤷♂️ There has been some cracking Speedway racing though! IainB
These moving at the start penalties are becoming ridiculous, for the tiniest of movements... having said that Boughen has moved at the start in each one of his races with a bit of a roller in heat 1. Racin Jason 72
Boughen is very frustrating to watch. Again goes ridiculously wide in heat one. repeatedly moving at the starts and shutting off as soon as anyone come underneath him. someone needs to advise him. I know Bomber is his mentor but what works for bomber won’t perhaps work for Ashton.
