But this level of team managing makes Sam Ermolenko look like a Peter Adams or Neil Middleditch! I would've thought it would be very easy for the new Birmingham TM to be better than the previous one? Until he finally decided that it is actually really crap... Still, as many of the Witches fans have said on here, they are fine with the hammerings every week given they haven't won much for years... And these hammerings each week will ensure their attendances stay really good because everyone follows a winning team... A win win for Ipswich... It seems to really bother you that Ipswich get bigger gates than Belle Vue despite your all singing all dancing super duper track! What are you arguing against here? You’re having a sly dig at Ipswich fans for saying people follow a winning team?? Of course they bloody well do are you stupid?
szkocjasid Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM Given Ipswich scored 67 & 65 in their first two matches. To "only" score 60 against a Brummies side with a reserve guesting for a heat leader, must give Birmingham fans some hope for the future (against weaker opposition). I felt the gate was lower than normal tonight as well, sadly with no Peterborough the best 'local matches' are Leicester and Kings Lynn.

Correct riders will ride where they want to & also where they are looked after. It’s not always about the have & have nots, Ipswich have enjoyed some of the best gates if not the best gates in UK speedway for a longtime. They have also always enjoyed good sponsorship backing from the local business community. It’s only the last 3 or 4 years that we have been competing. Trying to constantly weaken the product has gotten uk speedway to where it is today on the point of extinction.

Neither the promotion or the broadcaster should be advertising it as the “top 4 scorers from each team”. Before a wheel was even turned tonight it was pretty obvious that Emil, Doyle and MJJ would be 3/8 top scorers and paying fans would be expecting to see them come out in the event. It’s pretty poor all round from my perspective. 100% agree, I remember a previous Edinburgh vs Glasgow 13 heat match (in the 15 hear era) but many riders weren't interested in the second half, so it got forgotten about in the second leg. While I'm not surprised it happened tonight, they shouldn't advertise top 4 riding unless all 14 riders agreed beforehand.

Gavan Posted yesterday at 10:10 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:10 PM To those people on here saying they expected Doyle and Emil to ride in the Billy Sanders they actually didn’t qualify … it was based on the programmed rides including bonus points King Ellis and Brennan got 10 and then Dan T and Emil 9 and Doyle 8 What was worse was Birminghams top 3 scorers all didn’t bother to ride On to the meeting and what on earth is up with gate 4? Whoever was on it was a bike length behind every race going into turn 1 Jepsen Jensen was solid and best visiting rider to Foxhall so far this season Jeppesen got stuck in but the rest were woeful very disappointed in Rew especially where he almost fenced Hume just to get a point Musielek looked a shadow of the rider he was but fair play coming out for the match races when the others in his team didn’t bother … you think Rew being an Aussie and former witch might have done it

ouch Posted yesterday at 10:29 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:29 PM Fair play to Dan T and an Ace display from Tom. Emil & Jason were always going to bail as they have no alliance to Ipswich or Billy being megabucks hired hands. Really pleased with another ££££ big witches win, as are the Ipswich “faithful”.
