Ipswich ‘Witches’ vs King’s Lynn ‘Stars’ - Monday 5th May

Recommended Posts

Can't see Boughen scoring and Dan T will get more than some are predicting.  Going for 55-35.

Ipswich 54 - 36 KL

Don't think Ipswich will put up 60+ in this one purely due to it being a daytime meeting where track conditions will be a bit different to normal.

I just can't wait, it's been 2 years since I've been to a local derby, I'm gonna bring my pump horn, are they banned lol My airhorn was confiscated last meeting, I was blowing it just for the hell, Kevin encouraged me, he would lol

OMG what's he gonna say about my pump horn, good job I can't find my blowy horn lol lol

“King’s Lynn boss Rob Lyon said: “I was very pleased to see the result and performance last Monday. It was a convincing win with everyone scoring well, and that’s what this team is built to do at home.

“I’m confident we are more than capable of getting a result at Ipswich on the back of that performance”

Well he isn’t at all confident of getting a result there is he let’s be honest. I get that it’s all PR and you can’t exactly go out and say you’re going to get beaten, but supporters ain’t daft so don’t treat them like it. Just say it’s gonna be really tough but you’ll give it your best shot and see what happens. That isn’t being negative, it’s realism and honesty.

Others might disagree but personally I want every team I support to go into every fixture believing they can win, however unlikely. I think if you stray away from that foundation it's a slippery slope.

Coming down for this one.

KL do have riders that go well around Foxhall so I wouldn't be surprised if this meeting was to turn out more competitive than predicted.

Sun is trying to make an appearance, at 13:30 it’s due to be clearer skies but still remain windy. I’d suggest brining a coat as it’s pretty cold out! Especially if you sit up in the stand where the wind hits you hard.

KL could pull a surprise I would say 44 - 46 to the Stars. Doyle has been erratic, Emil seems to have bike or set ups not as good as they could be, Danny has had a couple of low scores for Redcar and it will be very much how the top end performs as Klindt will be a spoiler if he gets it right from the start. Not as clear cut as a few may think.
