Bradford was for big matches, though I was never that keen on it for league matches. Didn't help that every time Wolves went there it seemed to rain mind you. Rain up north !!! The dogs are moving out the stadium end of September I think they said. The stadium will close end of the season. Well you posted this sad news a few days before the club made a shock(?)announcement.....did no one believe your post? Whatever it's still sad to see another team bite the dust.....was it you who also mentioned Sheffield being dodgy? I know someone did. Yes someone else mentioned Sheffield, I have no knowledge about that. Thing is Birmingham has been a known fact that 2025 was the last at the stadium and the dogs were moving out. Id have left things till the last week if I was Tolley to make it official. Everyone would have known the news anyway.

And, obviously, each tezm will be attending for the last time at some point, so that again should bring an away following in excess of what a normal meeting would bring... It may also get some local media traction and they could then gauge the level of response so as to ascertain if there is any hope for the sport going forward in Birmingham.. A sensible time to call it from a business perspective...

A sensible time to call it from a business perspective... That’s a fair perspective actually. However most speedway fans know that this is the last season for the Brummies without the announcement. Which is awful, should be given to two of the young guys coming through. I’d be embarrassed if I was Harris or Ellis for even accepting it.

Bringing the next in line over in less than 24 hours would be unrealistic I would suggest, so promoting Harris into Saturday would be the easier option.. Edit. And also means competitive racing when, or if, they are needed.. Edited Thursday at 10:03 AM by mikebv
