Dave_minall
Phil Morris said in a podcast yesterday that he hasn't heard from Doyley to say he's not riding. He also alluded to the fact that if Doyley leaves it too late to tell him he's not riding, then Harris and Ellis will take his place as it's too short notice to get Madsen in. He said that "unless Jason tells me he's not riding, I'm going to assume he is" in as many words. Check it out here

Saturday looing tricky up to around 7:30pm (but could change yet), but with a dry day Friday that should help the track for Saturday. Dry and warm today, some rain due mid afternoon but dry from 8pm, so we should be OK for both nights as long as Saturday doesn't get worse.

I know Jason's been knocked about and hoping to ride BUT it's a GP and surely ALL riders should have to confirm they are going to ride by a certain date. In this case the meeting reserve, LM, doesn't know where he stands with less then 48 hours to timed sessions. Smacks lack of professionalism to me. Yes I know there are 2 meeting day reserves, but the series reserves should be first pick.

The specific date of the interview taking place wasn't mentioned.

The interview with Phil was recorded around 9pm on Sunday night. as it stands at this moment 5.20pm Thursday, Kurtz & Doyle are down to ride, there has been no media briefing otherwise, however both are fitness question marks. Missing 2 GPs would be significant for both riders though so neither will want to pull out without giving it the maximum opportunity. pjplymouthdevil
What is the official rain off / restaging policy for the Saturday? I’m considering booking a hotel for Saturday night in case it’s postponed to Sunday (is that a possibility?) but would rather avoid the extra expense! They don't anticipate any issues, but Sunday is he reserve date so the cancelled meeting would run Sunday. However, this is subject to the FIM decision, there are lots of variables such as if the meeting gets to heat 16 then the result would be called. They will do absolutely everything to make sure the meeting happens though.
Dave_minall
Just saw this, the machine examination timetable for tomorrow night, I think it's safe to say now that both Kurtz and Doyle are in attendance now 😆
