If they have any sense, yes. We all like value for money so surely all of us would prefer to see a meeting with two full strength teams, wouldn’t we? 😉

I agree to an extent, but this is speedway and there are lots of injuries in this sport. If every team waited for fully fit teams then the league or cups would never be completed.Lynn wouldn't have had a meeting for about 6 weeks, and it could be likewise for Ipswich. So unfortunately this is why we have to use guests or r/r options available.

I just find it funny that a lot of Witches fans are making out they weren’t worried now it’s been called off 😂

Haven’t seen anyone post that since I posted about the postponement. It was obviously going to be tougher to progress with the injury problems I think we all conceded that. I certainly still wouldn’t have bet against us winning the tie tomorrow, any scenario looked possible.

You’d think that was Lynn’s best chance and it may now have gone, but having said that, it could be a while before the fixture takes place and either team could look in a worse position by then! You can just never tell in this sport.

Oh I’m with you Telly, you can’t sit around waiting for teams to be at full strength of course. I’m just saying, we all prefer to see meetings when teams are both at full strength, so hopefully this is the case when this meeting eventually gets run…😉

Buster's played some iffy moves with postponements so no King's Lynn fan has any right to call 'foul' on this one.

You are right Buster has made some dodgy call offs, and Lynn have been called out by fans on every one.So surely it's only fair to repay the compliments😆

For sure, but two wrongs don’t make a right though. Think they’ve definitely taken advantage of a dodgy looking forecast to get this off. I’ve seen even worse forecasts than that the evening before a meeting at Foxhall, and they’ve not called it off the evening before.

I can also remember a meeting against Peterborough at Foxhall a few years ago, where the Ipswich Twitter account uploaded a photo of the track literally under water after a monsoon mid afternoon the day of a meeting, and still got the meeting on. They’ve also worked hard clearing all the drains during the winter and sorted the drainage system.

Let’s be honest here they should have waited until the morning we all know it. But what’s done is done.

Very likely to be okay from 2-3pm then 🤷🏻‍♂️

Let's hope so - I've got a few spare hours now - evening bbq anyone? :D

I agree, but sometimes "what goes around, comes around" is justified for some.

Saying that though, with the state of British Speedway today, if the weather is predicted to rain, postponements should be made prior to match day.

Expenses to club & rider has to be protected, plus, more importantly, the costs to all the volunteers & any travelling fans whether it's 1 guy & his dog or 100.

In 2025, people just don't have the patience or affordability to be at stadiums watching track work for an hour only to be sent home anyway. These things are far more damaging than any early postponement for everyone involved.
