Glasgow Tigers Vs Poole Pirates 6/6/25

Recommended Posts

The argument about Starke or Ritchings is put to bed once and for all …. Still find it weird Poole fans thought Starke should go lol

Poole do shout from the rooftops when they win and then have to blame a rider or two every time they lose …. Kerr Starke and Thomsen the match winners tonight ….

Looked to me that Starke had just got to the tapes when the 2 minutes was up although wasn’t ready to start.
In my opinion the ref should just should green light and tapes up,

he shouldn’t give the rider extra time to get settled but equally I don’t think an exclusion is necessary if they are at tapes

Considering Starke had two on the trot did not seem to get a lot of extra time. Tigers Harris apart were poor, would have been a heavier defeat but for Barker. Track look ok and rode well.IMO.

What time does the Lewi Kerr character assassination post usually happen at.

Just so as I can get the popcorn on my way home.

Thanks in advance.

There you go Gaz. Doesn't matter what Lewi does this guy slates him. He could get a max and he would moan he didn't win fast enough! 🙃🙈🙈

Thats true but he was dawdling to tapes. He just made it to the tapes as could be seen by the clock counting 3,2,1 was there. But really he should have sped around the track faster than he was going.

Thought the racing was decent. Some good overtaking earlier on in the meeting though less on three and four. Crowd looked decent as well.

I thought Kerr did tonight what he was signed for. He won heat 14 and he had to do that. Let’s hope he continues to improve and his scoring going ahead reflects this.

Starke was very good especially holding out Flint in heat 12, Kerr had a good night too, Ritchings not so good.

As I understand it, Bringing in a Guest for THOMPSON,means R/R for Boughen.

Boughen rides would only allow 1 rider with an average above Boughen and the other 3 rides taken by Tigers Reserves

Having a Guest for Boughen means all Tigers , 1 - 5, Can take an extra ride for Thompson, as he tops the averages.

I'm pretty sure Glasgow could've used 2 guests, no requirement to use r/r. Oxford we're going to run with 4 guests before Heeps got injured, then using r/r for him.

Very professional performance by Poole, some really solid gritty performances.

Glasgow will probably need a change or two if they wish to challenge Poole. Track conditions caught some of their guys out. Not Harris no problem.

Good stream and enjoyed listening to Mitchell Davey. Big improvement on Roynon and Bowen.

Mitchell Davey was excellent.

Well done to Poole, they adapted quickest to track conditions and had the experience further down the order to keep it going. I suspect the Glasgow riders wouldn't have asked for a track like that but that shouldn't take it away from Poole.

Barker for Boughen was an upgrade, Leon returned to type and we struggled all evening for heat advantages when the top 4 except Harris didnt gate.
