I really don't know what people expect from Niels, he is 42 and arguably riding at a position on the team he shouldn't be. Like everyone else he's a six pointer for a reason.

As for team changes, I'd agree we may need to be ruthless at some point, and despite what Mr Grumpy from P'boro has piped up with I think Lambert would be asked if he fitted and wanted to come.

I agree re Iversen, but as you say they may have to be ruthless at some point. And if they did make a change, whoever they got rid of you could probably make a case of why him.

My I ask a statistical question, apart from 3 draws at Owlerton I believe in 2005, 1979 and 1971. Have Lynn ever pulled off a win at Sheffield. I'm sure they had but couldn't find it.

I don't think so, but on 28 March 2007 you did have the pleasure of reducing Sheffield to the ignominy of a 75-15 (yes, that's right: 15 x 5-1's!) at KL in the Premier Trophy. If I'm not mistaken, that's the only time it's ever been done by any team in any competition.

Andre Compton blamed the track; after going headlong into the fence in Heat 1 he said that he just couldn't get his bike to turn on the slippery surface!

Who are you going to get for these riders?

There isn't anyone in Europe who wants to ride in the UK who isn't already there apart from maybe Smektala who is struggling big time in Poland.

Why do you think Birmingham have been running RR for liglad and Oxford haven't made any changes?!

I seem to recall Arena-Essex doing this on Exeter 75-15 that is!

Exeter done it to Arena in 2000 75-15. They very nearly repeated it vs Glasgow a week later (74-16) but a Glasgow rider beat Harris in heat 15 to stop it.

Newport went a week or two after I think and lost 72-18 .

Was the season Exeter won the league by winning every single bonus point.

Really? That one slipped my attention.

it was actually the other way round it seems my memory is fading - both sides had a history of walloping eachother at their own place as the tracks were so very different!

Enter Nick Morris

Stewart Dickson mentioned on the Leicester v BV BSN stream last night that Nick's ban ends soon. I don't know if he's got him in mind to replace Luke Becker!

Lawson has been poor, away especially! Klindt has been very inconsistent but I actually think Niels is the biggest problem

Lawson and Niels seemed to have dropped off a little this season, But they have the best away averages this season. At 42 and 39, it will happen at some point. Agree it's frustrating seeing these  3's and 4's.

Your in utter dreamland if you think Buster is going to spend money to try and get Lynn into the play offs.

Mr Grumpys back.

In 2023 didn't Buster bring in Tarasenko, Wojdylo, and Laguta in for PB in July/August. You were rock bottom, and went on a winning streak, overtaking Lynn by 11 points,  and handing us the wooden spoon. He could though sod it, i'll plod for the last few months. Could he not??

Well here I am - just returned from my counselling session. Unfortunately my therapist couldn't provide any resolution for my feelings of disappointment that Kings Lynn failed to win a speedway meeting ;)

Chapman knew he had sold PB down the drain to APEG, all he was doing was keeping money coming in for his benefit.

No! No! No!

If you ask everyone again..

That you have already spoken to before the season started...

Who flatly turned you down....

Or wanted "stupid money"...

Hence you ended up with the riders you did...

Then, I am sure they will now say yes...

(But. Very much on their terms now they know how desperate you are..!)..:D

Cheaper not to. Lynn suffered badly.

Do you really think if BP was closing, he would  of wasted money on PB, whilst  making his beloved Lynn collecting the wooden spoon..

It was all down to crowd numbers, even Chapman on the microphone said at Peterborough that the PB supporters supported there team in numbers and financially helped the club and wished the KL fans would do the same.

It is a much bigger catchment area, as with all the teams compared to King’s Lynn. You only have to look at the populations of the town/cities of the current Premiership teams and see that realistically Lynn should be the least supported (which naturally should equate to less financial strength and less success on track)

King’s Lynn - 43,000

Ipswich - 140,000

Oxford - 162,000

Leicester - 368,000

Sheffield - 556,000

Manchester - 568,000

Birmingham - 1,100,000
