Stadium looks half empty by the looks of the ticket sales

I'm sure when the wild card is announced ticket sales will rocket 🚀

Is Malilla the best place for a GP in Sweden? I looked on the map and it’s in the middle of nowhere.

But then so are most Swedish tracks.

Went last year and had to rent a car from Gothenburg for 4 day long weekend costing £600, everything in Scandinavia is expensive as well.

Depends on your criteria.

Målilla MK (Dackarna parent organisation) have a very organisation for arranging GP:s. But it is very in the middle of nowhere.
Västervik have a very good track, but they claim that their pit area is too small for SGP.
Sannahed is a good track, but Sannahed is a bit off (30 km south of Örebro)
Eskilstuna has very good facilities (except parking) but track is a bit meh at  the moment.  Located about 12 km outside town but would probably be bus transfer available.

IMO those are tracks  that a GP maybe could be held at.

Västervik are fairly close the city. Norrköping and Motala are in the city or in the outskirts of the city. Hallstatvik is also central in the municipality
in which they are based. Gislaved is also quite close to the town.

Gislaved is a good place to have it, pits plenty big enough too and haven't they recently refurbed the fence or something?

Gislaved (and neighbouring Anderstorp) are quite small (not as small as Målilla but still quite small) and located far out on the countryside
about 1 hour from nearest larger city.

They have held World cup meetings there before, and looking at photos seems there is plenty of room.

Well judging by the early posts on here this will be a wasted question but I have a spare ticket for the SGP2 and SGP.

If anyone is interested please make an offer - I can send over by email - they will be unused otherwise.

Weather not looking great in Malilla- can’t see qualifying being on but hopefully rain stops in time for track to be prepared for the GP- they certainly have all the equipment they need.

Qualifying now cancelled
