Only beat once or twice since it happened so certainly no excuses there 2
Baldyman
I think on the hot sunny days at the NSS is when the home riders have the better set up,, thus giving them the win,, Witches keeping it reasonably close 50
Gavan
Last time heatleaders was Belle Vue 30 and Witches 21 with Lidsey managing 5 only of those I’d expect him to do better Second strings Belle Vue 3 and Witches 16….. Blodorn won’t score zero again and King is riding injured Reserves was Belle Vue 7 and Witches 13 but this time both Witches reserves are riding injured Belle Vue favourites but hopeful we can keep it to 50-
TTT
BV will win the HL battle, Ipswich will win the reserve battle, Result comes down to the 2nd String Battle. 47 - 43 either way.
MP78
Must admit that I thought the massive favourites comment was amusing... BV favourites for me. Doyle and Emil have had the beating of Bewley and Kurtz in previous seasons, but will struggle to get any over them this year at NSS Edited Friday at 02:22 PM by MP78
mikebv
Heat leaders plus 4 to 5 for fhe Aces... The rest, plus 10 to 12 for the Witches...
bellevueace
If we ride like we did last week heats 13 and 15 wont save us we need more from Cook and Blodorn and Ipswich are stronger at reserve.
Aries
Tall order to repeat the cup success here with the team still undercooked as the manager points out in the preview. Just need to keep ticking.along until the riders get back to full fitness so anything close enough to get the bonus at Foxhall will do. It’s not important to finish top as we all know, but it’s still nice to do so.
foreverblue
I think this will be close, last heat decider is on the cards. Belle Vue have the best top two in the league currently but Ipswich clearly have the strength in depth and their reserves are clearly head and shoulders above Belle Vue's, King and especially Brennan are strong riders but I think Ellis will struggle against Lidsey who has been going well. The issue at the moment is a few Ipswich riders are struggling with injuries or have just returned from injury, for that reason I expect it will be close. Aries
Emil seems to be following the same path as last year. Took a while to get going in both Poland and here last year with mechanical issues and the same has happened this year. Something seems to click mid-season though when he’s suddenly riding a rocket ship! Brennan is also showing good signs of a return to form after suffering a dip. Has had good recent meetings both here and Poland. Edited 6 hours ago by Aries
