Workington v Poole Sat 12th July 6pm start

Well it’s clear to see where the issues lie. After heat 3 we held our own but you can’t start give the home side three 5-1’s on the trot. The whole meeting is over before the first track grade.

Vinnie Foord showing every reason why he should have been chosen over Starke this season. A fans favourite and a battler. Instead we have ended up with mobile chicane Stark who makes no effort to defend his track position. Kerr, well he was appalling earlier this season, had some improvement before being utter tripe today.

Easily our worst performance of the season. I don’t like losing but if we do, at least put up a proper fight.

No blame for young Cairns but as you say we can see where the issues are. Kerr showed improvement recently but went backwards tonight. Foord should never have been dropped for Starke, crazy decision.

Perhaps Vinnie preferred to go to Northside. Much better track, than Wimborne Road.

After a terrible start, the Pirates won heats 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15. But only recorded 3 heat advantages, all 2-4's .

When you won Ht's 9, 10, 13, 14, and 15, you also run a last. Even after that  bad start, it could of be very close.

Was coming as part of a southern tour, but Poole put the brakes on that by moving the fixtures around, would think about 30 fans were doing the same. But now not many. Also I believe Poole upset Edinburgh fans by moving their fixture, then you wonder why speedway is dying

Edinburgh wanted it moved cos they would have been missing 2/3 riders. So down to their promotion.

100%. Matt rarely makes mistakes with team building but what would you rather have? A rider who is up for it every ride, determined to improve, or a rider who with due respect, his better days are long behind him and he just can’t do it anymore.

No blame for Cairns. Just turned 16, tough reserves and on their home track. Did well to beat Foord for his point.
