Terrible performance again from Lewis Kerr. I expect the prat from Poole to be calling for his sacking again tonight.

The blokes a knob. He was great for Kings Lynn at Ipswich last night. It’s that damn rutty track at Poole is the problem.

Cooler travelling today so the boys were not knackered. Heat 13 was sublime with Lawson. Heat 14 was amazing with Cook.  

Commentator said the second half of tonight’s meeting was the best he had ever seen at the track. Can believe it, that was sensational racing.

Just shows if you win you see a great meeting, where last week when you were beat by poor worky you looked for any excuse 🤔

Hes been fine at home actually, now starting to perform alot better away. Great meeting tonight really enjoyed the stream. Much better than the Belle Vue one.

I think its just the disappointment of losing so badly, Kerr did have a awful meeting at Workington so did Starke.

I can’t understand what has happened to Luke Harrison, started the season so well and scoring big points and looks to have gone backwards.

Like you said it’s demoralising to watch this season.

I doubt I’ll go anymore this year!

Problem for Scunny is Steve Worrall has not been the rider he was since his injury. Allen has faded to a second string, Lambert, who I like, blows hit and cold. Mountain is OK at home, the Kennedys are ok when at reserve. Young Harrison was invisible tonight. They are a coup,e of heat leaders short. Once Poole got dialled in they were the better team. Cook rode well and Lawson was pretty sensational. His best ever season? Fast and aggressive as hell, but never dirty.

The racing was good but it was only average by Scunny standards, we are truely blessed here.

Good result tonight, have to question Scorpion team building strategy this season. As far as Pirates are concerned Kerr is improving, Cairnes is a quality rider who will improve, Zac is a sound rider, Lawson Mr Reliable, Tobias delivers, Smartie good for his GSA, my concern is with Anders Rowe's fitness, great potential but that groin Injury is it still an ongoing issue?

On paper the Scunny team looks decent. 2 x 5 point reserves, the Kennedy's & Harrison putting points on their averages.

If they want to go with stronger heat leaders, will suffer at 6 & 7. Then who will they sign? Redcar can't find a replacement for Riss, Berwick have 7+ available to replace Hume but haven't got anyone.

Until Nicholls made his return, Champ sides could only bring in second strings & reserves.

Apart from MPT & it seemed most Scunny fans were happy to see him go (from what I can remember).

MPT is but a shadow of his former self, as a promoter I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

It was Anders' arm injury troubling him on Wednesday - he could barely get his kevlars on due to the arm swelling up. Hence going to a specialist on Thursday....

Just catching up on the result looking at the Updates page. Just wondering why Declan Kennedy and Luke Harrison were selected for Scunthorpe in heat 15? No disrespect to both riders but on the night their scores weren't what you would normally expect and other riders scored more.

Either way they short changed the paying public who look forward to seeing the best pair of riders from both teams. Luckily Kennedy put up a brave fight v Lawson who took 3 laps to secure the 5-1.

We had already lost the meeting and due to race at Workington 20 hours later. Two riders who have lost form at home and needed the track time to try out different things.  A telling feature of this years team is nobody is doubling up, ( apart from Luke sharing Rising Star position at KL.) I think actual racing is needed to hone their skills.  Congrats to the Pirates ,just better in the latter part of the meeting. No idea why we watered and graded the track when we were winning, after that we went downhill?

Steve Worrall was a strange choice of rider by Godfrey because hes not really a racer, it seems we signed him because he lives local. I would swap him for Zach Cook who absoultely loves the EWR.

Not sure whats up with Allen, why didn't he fancy heat 15 when hes been complaining he is getting enough rides doubling up.

The Poole team when Andersen and Ciegelski came over were excellent, they did very well to finish runners up that season 😀
