Assumed pomoter with WC's , not sure about format, but would have thought promoters have some input.

May be totally wrong on both counts though!

Oh to be a fly on the wall at some of the promoter/FIM meetings!

Not sure if its been said by anyone on here yet but do we know when  the remaining GP spots are going to be announced ?

I did say by the end of this weekend. I need to amend that to after the SON comp in Torun as the FIM and presumably the new series promoter are discussing it and finalising it in Torun next week.

God there is some crazy talk on here

Why do people want new blood if the new blood isn’t good enough?
Choose Fricke Doyle and Michelsen add them to the 12 and then tell me who will be the bottom 3 or 4

Add in the SGP 2 winner and a couple of young poles and you know they will not be competitive

Those saying Doyle doesn’t deserve one should also be saying Fricke and Lambert are lucky to be in…. Doyle missed one and a half GP’s and rode injured for the 2 at Manchester … he only finished 16 behind Lambert and 13 behind Fricke …. And some say he doesn’t deserve it lol

Can't see them giving two Aussie WC's with two in the series already but you never know.

Personally I'd go Fricke over Doyle but that's personal preference, you can make a strong case for either.

Who says the new blood isn’t good enough till it’s given a chance to see. Seeing the same old faces is a huge part of why the series has become boring. Thank god for Brady and Dan keeping it alive. As for Doyle  , he was the new blood once . He hasn’t always been the rider he is today but he , sadly has become part of the furniture and won’t challenge at the top again. Fricke is ultra professional, as he proved last night whereas Dole and Brennan had different ideas last night. The series needs a recharge with some new riders , not same old same old again. In my opinion.

I agree with the overall view.  Regarding Fricke vs Doyle, only one of them showed they can still challenge and made it to the GP final this year, and it wasn't Fricke.
