I know people are quoting it’s 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd.
As it should be.

However what we know about those in charge it can be changed to suit any circumstances.

So let’s see.

100% won’t be anything else but 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd.

Phil Morris knows it was a poor decision and said it wouldn’t happen again.

What is interesting is the fact nobody really knows where each other will finish, and all face each other still.

My money is on a late charge from Birmingham and they take it all 😁

You beat me to it. Morris has publicly admitted it was a mistake and that mistake would not happen again. Absolutely no chance it’s anything other than 1st v 4th, and 2nd v 3rd.

Still meetings to be raced, but looks likely it’ll be Ipswich v Belle Vue, and Leicester v Sheffield in the Semi’s.

Does anyone know if the top team picks who they want to race against in this seasons play offs? ;)

Anyone?:D

Do they have to pick a play-off team?

Imagine Ipswich could pick Birmingham.

Leicester pick Oxford.

Sheffield pick King's Lynn.

Belle Vue seeded to the semi finals.

Only the top 4 teams would know they're in the play-offs for sure, so there would still be something to race for.

I was joking when I started writing this, but with Speedway you just never know!

.

there is no picking FFS, how many times do people need telling

1st v 4th

2nd v 3rd

although they were the rules last year also

in the interestes of speedway lets just put Kings Lynn into 4th spot at the expense of whoever is in fourth spot 😅

Top teams are expected to win at home, which the top four do regularly. Personally, I think that Ipswich v Leicester would make the best final as they are better on the road than Belle Vue and Sheffield, having more depth in their teams to cope with technical tracks where pure speed isn’t the answer.

Pure speed is more exciting though. The neutrals want to see Sheff v BV final

Ipswich v Leicester final, Ipswich to win over two legs, if i was a Lions fan i would prefer to go with R/R for Becker as coming back from a long injury absence would be a gamble considering how well the facility has worked for them, if they go with a guest could be more of a gamble.

If he is fit and riding in Poland - there will be no facility at all.

Very much depends on how the final league positions turn out, but looks likely to be Witches & aces finishing first and fourth with Lions & Tigers finishing 2nd & 3rd although in which order is harder to call.
Given the above, for the semi final, I'll go with
Witches beating Aces simply because the aces have proven to be vulnerable on the road with the worst away record of the top four teams whilst the Witches have clearly the best away record so far.
The second semi final is more difficult to call, but I am going for a Tigers win on the basis that the two late changes to the tigers line up appear to have worked in making the team stronger whilst the Lions (unbeaten by Tigers this year) have the big question of Luke Becker's availability or RR/guest affecting their choice of line up...this tie much closer to call.
So a Tigers v Witches final, with Ipswich coming out on top.
