Our riders aren't rich. Just ask our reserves. Most of the money they've invested is on the stadium infrastructure.

Also, not sure how helping another team out can be seen as winning at all costs, especially as that team isn't winning anything this year!

Most clubs could not afford to help Workington.

Well let's hope the 3000 free tickets the Facennas are giving away lead to a bumper crowd and some good racing. It'll be interesting to see how many return if/when the Tigers lose, despite the good racing?!

We are not in the Premiership for financial reasons and I do not think Glasgow can accuse anyone of win at all costs considering how much money they seem throw at it and can afford to get someone like Nagel and at the same time help Workington out.

You mean Glasgow spend money on dirt, equipment, facilities for the riders instead of trips to Vegas, big win bonuses for only the 1st match of the season against Glasgow. Are the financial reasons that bad you cant afford some dirt, diesel to run more than one tractor and get your track man an extra pair of hands ?!

As for affording Nagel ,what exactly you talking about? The no sign on fee, uses club bike/and club mechanic (who only charges fuel and food), the fact he showed interest in coming to Glasgow after the SGP2 before Glasgow even approached him

And your knowledge of the Workington situation isnt even worth commenting on, other than if you think you know half a story take it as you know hee haw.

As for the ref's decisions, is what it is, after 15 heats Poole won, no complaints here, thats sports. But there is absolutely no excuse to scrape the track bare on every grade. Tracks come alive after heat 7, Wimborne becames a soulless dirt track after heat 7. If you have a win at all costs attitude then fair play thats your call, but lets stop the BS denial of what you do to achieve that win, and the impact that has for fan entertainment and the core fundamental of bikes riding on dirt. Ironically your team building would still be as strong as they are now with a home track prepared and graded to actually race on,only difference is fans would see what speedway should look like on a regualr basis and not just a handful of heats here and there.

Yes hope so the 3k free tickets were given away at the  Beatson cancer charity run at the weekend  to all the entries. it is a event supported massively by Allied Vehicles    and raises lots of money for the charity along with lots of other events that Allied are associated with in Scotland

So three of those were first bend bunching where both Poole and Glasgow riders fell. Flint was correctly excluded. Sorry but it’s sour grapes. Of the three falls on bend one all four back. Fair.

Cami is coming across as a bad loser.

No such rule, it's an Unsatisfactory Start.

The same Nagel who couldn’t fit UK into his schedule in the winter and the same one when asked a few weeks before signing for Glasgow who gave the same answer, then all of a sudden can do.

So him showing an interest is utter crap, worked out ££££ well for him.

I’m sure all other clubs would love to do half the stuff Glasgow have done to their stadium and track as well, however they don’t have a spare few million lying around like they do.

Glasgow was going well till they decided to scrape all the fresh shale that was put down off the bends onto the inside of the straights

From where I was stood Glasgow were just holding their own till heat 7. The track grading did go on for a while, but was in both directions. Anyway as always it's the same for both teams.

I'm begining to think Glasgow's form might be on a downward path, certainly Dan Thompson didn't show the form of his last visit guest appearance at Wimborne Road, I know everyone loves Bomber but I see a rider riding on experience rather than adrenaline, great in many ways but without an edge. Bowes was pants, the reserves mediocre, the rest inconsistent. That's why Glasgow lost, even though Kerr has rubbish bike prep, and Anders is struggling. Poole can be expected to come out on top overall with this one, unless Cami is able to work some kind of magic.

Also quite a few clubs don't own the stadium and in Poole’s situation, stadium use is short term future (last time i heard them asked about it in the press).

I think Poole fans enjoyed H15. In fact quite a few were jumping up and down. So i think they were entertained enough.

Also the track was way better than in previous weeks, so will take that.

So your saying that it has to be about money and nothing to do with the UK home track not suiting his style of riding ? I mean it's not like you've had a recent rider just bolt because he didnt have the track craft to ride Armadale.

Dont have to spend millions to get good speedway or have a positive impact to the sport, your own club a prime example, racing at Armadale is regularly entertaining and your club are heavily involved in youth development in the sport, neither of which you can say about Poole.

Rage bait 3/10 btw, effort was decent, originality disappointing. Come on Blobby I expected a higher caliber of troll than the old 'money' whinge.

You've said this before on another thread about Nagel being unable to ride in the uk. And I repeat why would a young up and coming Danish rider want to ride at Armadale. He is a polite young man so I'm sure he would have given a polite response should the monarchs have spproached him.

It's a pity your Livingston project fell through. Has anything been built on.the site yet or were the new land owners just hoping you would offer them good money to lease the site? And what happened to the money that was going to be used for that project?

I think most would see this as a rant of someone whose team lost and trying to make excuses why they lost. Glasgow do not have a stream so most of us will not be able to see the meeting and comment on how amazing it is, plenty of dirt on the track, passing on every bend etc.

See this is the problem ignorant people having a sly dig at Glasgow without knowing the full facts.

An unlikeable self entitled fanbase and then having a cheap shot for helping another club out.

Tells you everything you need to know about them.

So are Glasgow going to join every other club and start streaming matches? It’s ludicrous that they don’t and of course have been missing a money stream while denying fans from all over the country from seeing their wonderful, bestest ever, dogs danglies, bigly magnificent race track.

They can’t honestly expect ageing speedway fans to travel hundreds of miles in each direction to watch 90 mins of live action, but they can charge £12.99 that they wouldn’t have made with a stream. And it doesn’t have to cost much. Redcar’s streaming is basic but good enough. Two cameras. One static IRRC. One guy on a mic. Job done. Everyone happy.

Sort it out please. Yes, stuck record.
