Belle Vue -V- Ipswich POSF leg 1

Recommended Posts

Well done Witches, I suspect the tie will be over by heat 8 of the second leg.  If it's Witches face the Tigers in the final, you'll have my support.  Not sure who I'll support if it's the Lions considering Leicester are now my local track.

Everyone associated with Ipswich would've snapped your hand off for a single digit defeat before Heat 1.

BV were toast very early on tonight, Danny King gave them some false hope in Heat 8 but a quick one two punch from Brennan and Doyley in the heats that followed killed any momentum the Aces were hoping to build.

Ipswich will sail into the final on Thursday, Brady will mentally check out after a few races on Thursday after BV fall behind on aggregate.

Its amazing bar Thompson this year all the ippo riders have been disappointing but it still might bee good enough to win the league

and as per my prediction a small home win 48-42. Never thought Ippo would manage another draw with Belle Vue at full strength, but they are far too reliant on their top three to thrash any solid team like Ippo.

Jason Doyle showed he is a wily experienced rider and lowered whizz kid Brad Kruz colours  twice this evening.

As expected Kurtz wasn’t exactly busting a gut or getting to close to Doyle there

We surely can’t throw this away against one of the worst sides to visit us this season … but this is Ipswich lol

That's nonsense Brady tried everything to pass..

If BV get of to a decent start they can rattle Ipswich and hold them,if they don’t Ipswich will walk over them, that’s how psychology works in sport

I know play offs can be different but we have won by 14 and 22 in the league when both times Belle Vue used a tac sub which resulted in a 5-1 to them and no tac subs this time

As an Ipswich fan if we lose this from here we deserve all the stick we will rightly receive

Definitely, Doyley was on fire tonight. It wasnt Brady who underperformed tonight.

Nope Dan and Brady both rode well, Jason Doyle is still a top class rider.

I was there, he couldn't , mot without actually hitting him.

I think the Brady Kurtz earlier in the season may have done more that’s all … not saying he didn’t ride well

Well slight advantage to the Witches I reckon but would suggest no one gets cocky as we all remember 2023!! Not a great night for Emil he was slow away and lacked speed - Jason had a couple of those rides that remind you what a top rider he is!

One of two really good races tonight - thought Dan T did well considering he was in the main body of the team and had to face Zach twice DanB  and Brady in his 4 rides!!

pleased for Jason Edwards too a decent performance to outshine his opposite number!

enjoyed it anyway and looking forward to Thursday!
