SaddlebowRoad
you are probably right but to be fair hes not wrong any club worth their salt would be finding these people and barring them hopefully its fired their riders up and they give poole a good hiding

An issue like this can be kept in house between the BSPA/SCB and both clubs and dealt with properly. Yet Lanning and Brown continue to keep adding fuel to the fire asking for trouble in the return leg with these constant press releases.

Robinh88
Probably trying to sell one of the three home matches against Poole coming up in the next month.
Pirates Of Poole
I feel there is another agenda here to keep repeating it over and again in the press. Maybe trying to put off riders who are angling of a move to Poole over Glasgow?! Just a thought. Muddy the water? 1
CTD26
Whether the things quoted in the article or not were said, which I’m inclined to think they have been, some of the quotes are shameful. Yeah we all get a little competitive, especially against a rival, but wishing a rider dead after a crash? Come on man, that’s just barbaric. Whoever you are, whether you’re on this forum or not, take yourself away from the sport because there is absolutely NO place for comments like that. Yeah the Glasgow management are just banging the drum again, maybe to fire up the team or draw bigger crowd numbers in. It’s good marketing because it’s all people seem to be talking about. Talking should be done on the track, we all have riders who we like and dislike for whatever reasons, me included, but I wouldn’t for a second ever wish any of them dead. Anyways, as our “partners” up the tigers hopefully they get the win and knock the pirates out.

But, as i put in my post, if there was any bad language from "poole fans" im very sure that our management would like to know who the individuals are. Banter is one thing personel insults is another. topaz325
Middleditch should have been apologetic about the minority of fans from Poole instead he tried to wave it away as banter , not acceptable.
Pirates Of Poole
As a Poole fan and who went to the meeting. I sat in the big stand and didn't hearing anything, but that didn't mean this didn't happen, if it did then yes it needs to be dealt with by the club, as people shouting that are not welcome in our sport, this isn't football. We have young family's attending and they don't need be exposed to this. But this needs to be dealt with behind closed doors and not aired in public now after a number of press releases from Glasgow, it only adds to the fire of some and it will cause incitement. Speedway is struggling as it is and does not need further bad press in my opinion! Need to draw a line under this now and the club deal with any supporters caught will be thrown out the stadium going forward. Lets make one thing clear this isn't the Poole club I have supported for 35 years! we welcome all traveling fans to Wimborne Road!

Considering Neil and the Poole team were closer to the fans, I might take Middlos stance instead.
szkocjasid
Obviously there's two sides to every story, but if what Cami has said is 100% true, then he has every right to say what he did. He's not even repeating himself. The first report was a complaint about (some) Poole fans. The most recent is a complaint about the Poole management's reaction after he called out their fans actions. In general I can't understand any "fan" cheering a fallen rider, even more distasteful if they wish injury or worse on the rider.

Yes fans say some stupid things sometimes but to wish Leon dead is awful.

He talks about it being on the verge of a criminal offence. Well there is a police station just before you leave the stadium! Couldn't be much closer for him. 2. Needs security next time. Again police station right there!!! 3. Let's hear from these independent witnesses rather than Cami as I can't believe anyone would actually say that to a rider. Although some Oxford fans did give Vinnie death threats at Poole last season, did they not? We didn't ban them.

As I have already said Glasgow supporters go to see good racing not shout abuse at riders, win, lose or draw.
