Im not having a go at Emil mate, I'm making a point about Brady and the nonsense been said about him.

The amount of mistakes Telvin Katum has made yet again tonight while repeating the same old regurgitated phrases is unforgivable at this point. Cannot wait to get back to BSN and get away from this tinpot TNT gutter tripe.

Brady 4th in the away averages.  There 2nd and 3rd due to performance, bet you wasn't questioning them last season, especially Dan who is the only rider to hit a 30 point maximum In the play off final.

You can’t in any way defend Brady tonight that was disgusting performance…. Pretty much the best gater in the world and never tried an inch … you watch him all season at home flying round the NSS and pay your hard earned money only for him to not bother at all when it really matters … He is also your captain … what team talk did he give at the start to simply then stick 2 fingers up to his team mates

Yes our track isn’t the best and the weather made it much harder but true speedway fans know that makes it a leveller but Belle Vue bottled it badly

Doyle showed how to ride it and Brennan and King and Ellis attacked it … the Belle Vue boys didn’t do anything apart from Blodorn and Cook ….

It's pathetic isn't it, he is totally out of his depth, doesn't belong anywhere near a commentators mic, yet TNT just let him continue prattling on.

Re read my post and when you have, read it again. I am still bamboozled how they are 2nd and 3rd in the world. Just my opinion and if you dont like it that is fine with me.

Zmarzlik should win it tbh, Experience of being in that high pressure situation should count for something.

Agree but at least the meeting on Saturday will have an element of a challenge for those in contention rather than it being a foregone conclusion so let’s just wait and see how events evolve. Good luck to all who have a chance to be crowned and end up as part of the one to three in the world.

Well done Ipswich, tie was all but over after Monday and the state of this track meant there was no way we would mount a challenge.  FWIW I've no issue with Brady playing safe with Saturday in mind, he's put in plenty of effort for the Aces over the years, here's hoping he can claw those 3 points back and give Bart a run for his money.  Same goes for Dan, not worth risking your neck tonight.

Fair play, but I don't think Belle Vue fans from back in the day would have been so generous if PC and Mort had decided not to bother in a cup final. PC if i remember correctly came second in the 77 world final with a broken leg in Sweden in far worse conditions than tonight.

I do blame them though, riders with this attitude need to be drummed out of our leagues, they're short changing the few remaining fans that do attend and attract no new fans to the our sport

Both will have brought lots of entertainment this season..

At a level few others could match...

A bad night can happen to anyone and given the huge financial penalties in Poland for getting injured elsewhere, and the huge publicity and financial rewards in winning their top league, I can understand why Emil did what he needed to do taking zero risks..

As for Brady? This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity, and, with all the best will in the world, another UK title isn't going to define his career one iota is it?

But a World Championship will cement his legacy in the sport...

I'm sorry but I just don't get this rider over club mentality from some fans. I pay my money to watch my club in the British Speedway league, although it's nice to watch the SGP series and a rider from your club do well, I couldn't really give a toss what they did elsewhere tbh.

And i bet the last place he wanted to be tonight was at a miserable , wet and dreary Ipswich track  48 hours before the biggest night of his career and a possible life changing meeting.

Give your head a wobble . No wonder Speedways declining if you haven't got the brains to work that one out !

Easy night's work in the end, Track presented BV with an opportunity but Kurtz's attitude problems put an end to any hope BV had.

How any BV fan can stick up for him is beyond me, He may as well have not turnt up and BV could've booked someone like Richard Lawson to guest who would've given it 100%.

Emil and Bewley struggled but it wasn't due to upcoming meetings imo, Both riders are known to be poor gaters so they were always going to struggle in those conditions.

Dan Thompson who is a known gater, Flourished in those conditions and was rider of the night imo.

BV's best rider was Norick Blodorn who put up a really good showing tonight, Z. Cook also deserves a worthy mention.

Yes PC did that but it wasn't a club meeting,  I'm fairly sure he missed an Aces meeting in the week prior and rightly so, he was on a quest for individual glory.

Sayfutdinov looks done to me, a pale shadow of the rider he was.

Well thankfully we don't have fans like you.

So you happy with your captain tonight then?

Let’s say he made an effort and you got through to the final … then the Belle Vue fans would rightly applaud him .. so it works the other way ….. as I said you paid all your money all season to watch your team only to see them lose without so much as a whimper

If you can't see that these riders are destroying the sport in this country you are the one that should be wobbling your head. Did you see the crowd for Mondays play off semi final at the "National Speedway Stadium"? It was pathetic! Nobody came out to see these stars that would rather be elsewhere and quite rightly so.

If the Captain of the Belle Vue Aces didn't want to be there for his club, the answer is simple, he should have called in sick. I'm sure Bomber would have jumped at the chance even though he's got a World Longtrack Championship to ride for at the weekend.
