I know it was still 4-2 but great effort from him. He's now up with the best, and that gives his team a huge confidence boost to have a consistently dominant no.1. If I was Douglas I would have told him where to go, if you are “number one” then prove on multiple occasions not one race and that get on your high horse. That’s the reason majority of people don’t like him, if someone reacted to him with that gesture he would have had to make a comment in the pits to them no doubt, like when he mentioned “nice kick mate” to lambert last year. He is a sore loser and a knob, basically. In the words of his own family member… “he is an angry little man”. Majority of riders don’t like him either from what I’ve heard. However Jackie boy ain’t there yet - if you are going to be cocky and arrogant about beating a rival you’d best make sure you don’t get out gated by two of his team mates in the most vital heats of the night! There is also respect between rivals or at least should be! It was good to see the acknowledgment after Masters has beaten him for a 2nd time!
