Listening to Stead and also Picko make the meeting about the referee is funny, Leicester could do the same so it isn’t an excuse. Picko ran two 0s in heat 13 and 15 so need to look at that more than heat 14. Funny that when Rowe hit Howarth Ollie said all four back… there was only three left at that point 😂

Also, a mention to Fricke, he rode brilliantly, and not just for himself but team riding was brilliant as well to not just run away and win races, even in 15 you could see how he tried to slow Holder down so Masters has time but Masters just wasn’t fast enough so Fricke chose to help instead of overtaking him and run off in the lead. I know it was still 4-2 but great effort from him.

Completely agree,Leicester were just dominant in the big heats and well deserved only such a small deficit,if Sheffield dominated you wouldn’t have heard all the moaning from Simon Stead.

I liked Fricke's reaction to being excluded, take it on the chin and get on with the rest of the meeting. His team riding was great to see and Jack could learn a lot from him.

He put his focus onto what is important! - the remainder of the meeting! The exclusion the moment it happens becomes a bygone so not worth expending the energy over it - seems to have worked too as I think Leicester favourites now - great effort from the Lions given the first 4-6 heats!

Max Fricke has developed a more ruthless approach this season, for Leicester (and I'm not referring to the heat 1 exclusion, that was a standard Sheffield bend 3 move!). He's now up with the best, and that gives his team a huge confidence boost to have a consistently dominant no.1. It's what he was badly lacking last season, and if there's a wet track in the final he'll hopefully show that he's got that monkey off his back

Flint is very one dimensional on the the bike doesn’t have the manoeuvres to pass unless it’s a big blast round the outside. He is a decent gater though.IMO.

He has had a good season though.Whether there is a lot of improvement in him time will tell.

And live on tv he passed Kemp on the inside without hitting his left foot with the dirt deflector like Fricke did to him in ht 1. Also Kyle did in the first running of ht 14 what Rowe did in the 2nd running, Kyle should have been out or Rowe should be back in for consistency. Both went wide and collected riders on the outside of them.

I thought Jack Holder was excellent for Tigers, he didn't get the points for his efforts and left it all out on the track, not bad for a GP rider with an Ekstraliga final coming up to put that kind of effort in for a tin pot league championship.

I've said before, I quite like his cocky arrogance when he's won a race, it gets a reaction from people.

That fair,  but then he can’t complain when he does get a reaction 😆

Last night I was bored and came up with a very very very childish idea. Such a child I know and very unprofessional. But I’ll share it anyway 😂

Yes extremely childish. He had just won a fantastic race on the last lap and was full of adrenaline. Do you not expect a rider to celebrate ?

Admittedly he was poor for the rest of the night, but maybe he knew that himself and he was trying to psych himself up.

I do expect every rider to celebrate, but not being a knob. Every other rider cheers or acknowledges their supporters, he is just an ignorant brat. If I was Douglas I would have told him where to go, if you are “number one” then prove on multiple occasions not one race and that get on your high horse. That’s the reason majority of people don’t like him, if someone reacted to him with that gesture he would have had to make a comment in the pits to them no doubt, like when he mentioned “nice kick mate” to lambert last year. He is a sore loser and a knob, basically. In the words of his own family member… “he is an angry little man”. Majority of riders don’t like him either from what I’ve heard.

My video is justified 😂 and I don’t care if it offends people or not 😂

Lastly, I was going to make it even more clickbait by naming it:

Jack Holder “I am number one in, one out” 😂😂😂

I can’t stand him for that reason alone

At least he provokes a reaction unlike so many anonymous riders these days

Makes me laugh when people think being cocky and arrogant is a bad trait in a professional sportsperson. You generally don't get to the top level if you don't have that mindset.

No exactly this you don’t often get to the very top by being nice! However Jackie boy ain’t there yet - if you are going to be cocky and arrogant about beating a rival you’d best make sure you don’t get out gated by two of his team mates in the most vital heats of the night!

There is also respect between rivals or at least should be! It was good to see the acknowledgment after Masters has beaten him for a 2nd time! He will get there - cracking rider - he maybe will repeat what his brother did one day - just a bit of a walloper sometimes!

You deffo do, that’s a poor reply to come back with. Zmarzlik and many others aren’t cocky or arrogant, I could name you top sportsman in all sports who aren’t and got to the very top.

Gotta say Fricke is a different animal in the UK this season, probably the best rider of the season?

However he is still lacking at GP level and remains pretty much an also ran.
