Probably bad business for Oxford speedway to let someone else run a team named Oxford out of their track. Could split the fan base.

I mean that would just about sum up the state of British Speedway really. 

I'd assume if a "dead" club was to ride at Oxford it would have to be Swindon or Reading, and even then it wouldn't work unless they were certain of getting their own home sooner rather than later.

Unless of course you're mad enough to try the Swindon Racers or the Reading Robins and amalgamate the two!

Would tend too agree,but it’s Speedway so you never know what they will think up.

If a former club comes back it has to be at there home town, nomad teams are no good for credibility especially if they are miles away from the town itself but I believe the bspl is so desperate for a 6th team I wouldn’t put it past them to run a zielona gora team out of the Isle of Wight

Definitely bad business, they'd be running in direct competition to the other promotion.

They have a track and a stand and their old promoters don't seem to want to run the sport there...
