It's the BIG one! Spires last meeting...

OXFORD: Richard Lawson, Victor Palovaara, Rohan Tungate, Maciej Janowski, Charles Wright, Peter Kildemand, Luke Killeen.

LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Joe Thompson.

Has Rocket Man's back recovered? Has Rocket Man got his rocket fuel in his bike? 🚀

Weather looks like it's going to be nice, so I'm looking to head down for this one.

Lawson guests at number one for Riss! The rider that has ridden less than anyone else in the team has the highest average, shows how bad the rest have been. Who would have thought he didnt want to ride at Glasgow!

Congratulations to the Leicester Lions . Winners  of the Premier League 2025.

They've won more meetings than any other team and lost less meetings than any other team.

But this is British speedway at its finest and apparently that counts for nothing.

Lets concoct a weird scoring system that seems them finish 3rd  , even though the 2 teams above them have an inferior record!!  🤔

If I was being pedantic I'd say they don't race in the Premier League, they race in the Premiership.

Aside from that, I agree the points for draws is daft, I see no reason why both teams can't just score a point without a superheat. But the aggregate points is a good rule. Even removing the extra points from draws Sheffield would still finish first.

After all that, finishing top doesn't make you the league winners, as much as I think it should do.

A good idea in the Premiership & Championship divisions would be for a trophy given to the team finishing in first place, call it 'League Winners Cup', then award another for the winner of the play offs, 'League Champions Trophy', keeps everyone happy....

Not for me, it has to be one or the other, especially with nothing other than pride riding on it, the "LCT" would become nothing more than an end of season fixture filler.
