Poole fans will love it and call it a great meeting no doubt

That was pure farcical speedway watching riders like Harris and Flint and Nagel try so hard and the track has zero lines at all

Doctored track and maybe you understand why … but that’s not speedway that was diabolical

I await the usual Poole brigade

No wonder why the sport is dying

Come on Glasgow for the good of speedway go and win that title

Hope so

I paid £15 for this tonight and it’s possible I’ve never felt so robbed in all my life watching speedway, and for middlo to say that was a great meeting tells everyone that the sport is now beyond saving if people like him are at the forefront of the sport, Poole fans need to stop buying their heads in the deep sand on the local beaches and realise they are killing the sport, try bringing anybody new to watch that and you have lost them straight away, I don’t care what the score was because I don’t support either team just enjoy my sport but if you want to be entertained do not step foot into Poole stadium because on this evidence you might have well throw your money into the harbour

But @mikebv is saying nobody has a clue and the object is to win at all costs? Basically f**k the paying public and the people who prop up this sport you will get what you are given.

I tend to go to Poole once or twice a season, as a neutral, having had a day at Studland Bay first.

As a neutral I am not a fan of how Poole set up the track now and I don't really enjoy the racing.

However,  the Poole promotion give the fans a successful team nearly every year, the crowds are good and they seem happy with the racing. And by all accounts it is profitable.

In many sports the same argument applies about entertainment.  I suspect most supporters in most sports want their team to win first and foremost, and if it is entertaining that's a bonus.

Speedway is a bit different because there are so many of us who have lost our own teams, watch as neutrals and want entertaining races with loads of passing.

I'm looking forward to the Glasgow leg because I think the racing will be much better and entertaining,  but I understand Poole's approach.

Poole fans are fans who don’t care about the sport at all it’s a win at all cost mentality

Poole have good crowds because they are winning … Poole in the 80’s was close to closing down the fans didn’t turn up because they were not winning … glory hunters

Ipswich won the league and Louis thanked the fans who are the biggest supported club in the UK for sticking by them over 27 years Poole fans would never do that

Over the years Poole have had entertainers like Loram Nicholls and Ward but have given all that up just to have zero entertainment…. And the manager is the biggest idiot of them all

The meeting wasn't great, but it was pretty much as expected. Poole and their track will not be the demise of speedway, nor will the additional ticket cost, nor will something someone said that you disagreed with.

There are a few on here who have posted after every race, posting every thought, every negative they can muster. What a life.

Where's Mr Shovler? No different to the normal at Poole. Virtually no racing after the 2nd bend of the 1st lap again 😫 and at least Thompson had more room than ace did at Redcar to switch lines or knock off 🤣🤣 but they still argue 🤔🤔🤣🤣

He'll be along soon to tell us all that Poole are the underdogs for the 2nd leg 😂

Poole have built their team with gaters and you can’t blame them

Nobody can do anything at this track it’s appalling

I hope for the sake of his career Rushen decides to race elsewhere

Cairns stuck behind Perry shows you all you need to know

Tbh I don't understand why these promising youngsters think a season (or more) racing at Poole is best for their career?
