Thomsen was judged by all Tigers fans when he lost to every single Workington rider (twice to Bowes) whilst guesting at Ashfield for the Tigers. I would take Max Perry or Jack Smith ahead of Thomsen, even if that left us 2 points below the limit. I used the playoff final as an example that the Workington match wasn't a one off bad match. He also looked off the pace.
