Been saying that for a while, definitely a prospect, had a good meeting at worky in the Ben fund a couple of years ago, now seems to be doing well in the GP2 and Poland

Think he would be a good signing, young, hungry, good people behind him and would have good support from the Fords as far as settling into English racing goes the only caveat is I don't know if he's a trapper or not as get the impression ideally you need to be a good gater at Poole or have the talent to come from the back like Loram, Ward or Henka and there's not many riders in that mould sadly.

According to the local Echo, 'the Poole Management will not be rushed into making a signing just to make up the numbers'!

"The search continues......"

To me that sounds like they have options for signings, but are happy to use guests as they feel they are stronger (perhaps not for long) and want to find the best rider available (obviously).

So I don't see why the BSPL should grant am extension of the guest facility for Bowes in this instance. For a heat leader, I can understand clubs struggling for a replacement, but for a reserve, when there's options (Fredriksen, Bowtell, Morley) 28 days is long enough.

But this should be for all teams, not just Poole.

I can't help thinking that the Ford's who are masters of drip feeding press releases are gaslighting us on the new signing situation.

Get this feeling that they know they are nailed on for at least top 4 and are happy to use the shrewed option of guests up to 5.05 until the play offs. The possible use of Jenkins tonight then again if 7 days apart plus able to use the likes of Kennett when available and not fixture clashing plus Ablitt/Hagon/Foord should easily help them into the play offs with 4 of their 7 matches being at home.

This as the POL/Danish & POL U24 fixtures scale down come September with many teams out of play offs and more riders becoming available.

It could also be the Fords don't want to invest in an overseas young talent financially with the costs no doubt involved.

That espcially with Matt now back jointly running the club if that has added overhead  to running costs.

It's an 8-day rule not 7 days; and Matt has always run/owned the club whether in France or UK. Matt has always done the rider deals and contracts.

I'm not a great fan of conspiracy theories but, could it be that since Bowes' injury 28 days is up that matter's relating to Poole's Guests are recieving greater scrutiny at the moment. Zach's 75% facility, Jenkins's ban? Or is it just how these matters are dealt with ordinarily.

It could all of the above, or another theory Poole have to abide by the same rules as everyone else
