Tobias T is confirmed great signing on that average.

It sums up everything that's wrong about British speedway. A second tier club having to import a rider on a sub-five point average is ludicrous.

No offence to the guy, but the costs attached to bringing these guys over is absurd. It's no wonder the sport is in the mess it's in.

After a lot of thought; I think this is their best bet

1. D. King 8.59

2. T. Thomsen 4.81

3. T. Batchelor 7.10

4. J. Thompson 5.87

5. S. Nicholls 7.88

6. T. Spencer 2.00
7. ????

Would Daryl R and Klina fit in ?? Instead of Spencer.

No Ben B

Sometimes it's cheaper to fly a rider in rather than pay millage allowance to travel, and some amounts UK based riders are asking is unbelievable, a foreign rider is often cheaper. Think about it how many young riders, good or not so good want to be full time speedway riders, without having a 2nd income !!

If they brought Batch, they would have 5.75 for the 2 reserves, Klima is a no go, Ritchings makes sense, not sure about the other reserve.

It would be surprising if they don’t include Ben B!

I know, and this is why I am saying it's absurd. Second tier league speedway should absolutely not employ a model where it has to pay to fly a middle order rider in from Denmark. It is completely unsustainable.

Read what I said, it's often cheaper to fly someone from Denmark to say Bristol, than pay UK based riders to drive from say Yorkshire to Plymouth

Wait for 2027 - British Speedway is going to need to find 20 to 30 'Tobias Thomsens' to have any chance of operating......

Don't know why you would say that, don't remember him ever falling round the Plymouth track.

He had 1 crash last season at Plymouth it wasn't his fault either  he scored at least 2 race wins on each visit I think.

Yes always thought he went well at Plymouth, good signing I shall miss him and his doughnuts! Don't know why people say these things, makes them look stupid in my opinion.

Plymouth didn't "have" to import a second string who would fly in for matches, they could have kept Alfie Bowtell!
