I like the look of Plymouth for next season.

King and Nicholls’ experience will be invaluable, both on the track and in the pits, plus I think Thomsen has another gear in him. There’s also every chance Joe Thompson will kick on like his brother.

What’s the script with Ben Barker? Is there room for him, or any indication as to what he’s doing?

If you can get a decent reserve in like that Kilma (think that's him) on a 4 but who more likely will be a 6 point man when dialed in you won't lose many matches at home. I do wonder if that young yank Slater Lightcap could be worth a go at Plymouth.

I think the obvious is Ben and Klima with a random 2 pointer.

Possibly they don't pay more per point or per mile than other clubs. But have extras like free accommodation, free workshop use and help finding sponsorship. So the cash from the promotion is the same as others, as they claim, but the overall package they organise is better.

They also don't hang about, I heard more than 6 months ago that Rushen had agreed to ride for Poole in 2026. I'm not sure how long Wessex Marine have sponsored Rushen but that is likely to play a part in where he ends up given that they also sponsor the Pirates.
