Any idea why the start time has been changed?

Poole's usual start time of 1930 hrs was used as the final fixtures were being confirmed. A 6pm start was stated in the online ticket website but 1930 was used by the BSPL and elsewhere which added to the confusion. The 2025 Good Friday meeting was scheduled to start at 1800 before it was rained off! So 1800 hours is confirmed.
Hackett
Noted the Press Day photos and the new kevlars, certainly much improved on last seasons "watch this space" version.
Neila Posted yesterday at 07:24 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:24 PM Would have been good if they could have done some donuts or sliding a bit on the very wet hoe 🤔
Preston Comet
Just havaing a glance at the Gladiators website.. "The Coliseum features a shale oval track and seating for approximately 2,000 spectators. With 500cc methanol-fueled bikes reaching speeds of up to 80 mph, and no brakes, every race delivers high-intensity action." 2000 seats and 80mph... really?? I would have advertised 10,000 seats and 200mph....

A couple of get out clauses in the statement, "approximately" and "up to" Could mean anything up to these figures, but on a normal sized track the bikes speeds would maybe be nearer 80 mph than at Plymouth where you would be lucky to get to 30-40 mph as it's that small 😜
