Dont you think Chris Louis could have handled the sale of the club better? Rather than let it go on so long could he not have stayed in situ for another season till a deal had been struck and avoided this situation maybe handed over during the season. Why Witches fans are all of a sudden giving BV pelters i dont really know, wasnt BV,s fault Louis created this problem. Obviously i dont know why he handled it this way but from the outside it seemed to be a fit of pique. If Louis had handled it better Ipswich would have had the same luxury as not only Belle Vue but Sheffield, Kings Lynn, and Leicester, Northampton were in the same boat with a late start but no whingeing from them. Just dont get all the hostility being honest.

Agreed and I'm not hostile at all. I said at the start of the season the Aces were favourites and so it's proved, simply because they had the best team with riders on the up, especially at reserve. I also don't get the constant moaning and whinging about the Ipswich team. Blimey, they made the cup final, got into the playoffs and could have easily finished second in the table, for me, that seems a successful season.

Nobody was saying that in March.  In fact one of the prolific Ipswich posters said Belle Vue would be poor away from home all season, and I remember after we won our first away match at Lynn they stated that would be the last time we won away.  Its only 2 Ipswich fans moaning and pretending this season doesn't count because they are going to be knocked out in the semi.  Birmingham and Oxford both came up to the prem to be Cannon Fodder so does that dilute the 2025 title win.

Anyone would think that Ipswich have always been a big time club in the top league other than when you signed 2 ready made super stars a few seasons ago This years team has had about as much league success as the previous teams over the last 2 + decades. Perhaps there was no long term planning involved with all those teams as well.

Belle vue have had a few baron years but i just put that down to signing crap teams.

Yes you are not one of the posters i was referring to regarding some comments, you are very fair in your posts. I agree with you about the moaning about the Ipswich team, the cup final and reaching the play offs is pretty good from where you started from having such a late start. A lot of fans were saying the club is safe and  dont expect anything this season, yet are now being critical. Next season is when the new owners influence will be seen, and i think it will be a very good side they put together. Be interesting to see what changes to the sport 2027 brings, if any.

changes are needed  , big ones. what ever they do i dont see a increase in crowds

Hopefully, the tail no longer wags the dog, and someone (Coleman?), can bring enough with them, (even kicking and screaming), to make the sport (in the top tier), a bona fide team sport, with coverage and sponsors from outside the usual "Speedway Bubble"...

I really dont understand why the present promoters dont take notice of those who have come into promoting with new ideas to try to make the sport more attractive, surely they themselves would benefit financially from the sport regaining popularity? I think Richard Coleman is the last chance, from some of the things  he mentioned in the article in the star some weeks ago he seems like someone who could revitalise the sport and bring in new ideas that are badly needed. If hes another that thinks hes banging his head against a brick wall and walks away i think that will be it for the sport in this country.

yes just watched the 360 interview with Coleman, but some how talking common sense, doesn't get you very far these days.
