Exactly a little bit of clarity wouldn't hurt would it, but then again this is the whole problem with this sad excuse of a sport in the UK

Most of them don't even care about the Sport, Let alone the fans.

The fans that Mr Louis neglected to thank while just about name checking everybody else in his self absorbed statement?

Yet you were wanting Sheffield bought as you were counting him in Premiership. The Dean Machine has summed it up perfectly.

I was just trying to remain positive to be honest with you.

Now I simply don't care, It's done so no point dwelling on it.

Just to think 3 weeks ago we  were all heartbroken because Emil wasn't coming back 💔

Have to say I'm absolutely devastated about this news,  can't process it tbh.

So if we can't sell and Sheffield can't sell what is the future for "top" speedway in 2026?

The thing is its a sports club not just a business, there are thousands of fans in Ipswich so he owes them some sort of explanation at some point

He could have at least assured fans that there was going to be Speedway next season at Ipswich regardless of a buyer or not, I assume as he didn't that there won't, what a way to treat hundreds of loyal fans 👏

You can't run a premiership with just 4 teams (possibly 5), and with the great majority not interested in forming one league, Chris has had enough of banging his head against the wall with the short sighted SCB and BSPA. Guy Nicholls might save it, but that's just a maybe at this stage.

One league could have possibly saved British Speedway, the time was right, but predictably that chance has been squandered...

Isn't Rob Godfrey's "2 leagues" next year, "1 league" as it was 3 leagues this year... next year a top league and a development league?

What a silly statement. He can’t guarantee anything as it’s ‘ up for sale ‘…..not ‘sold’ !

He could easily have said "2026 is my last year, I'm open to offers and in the meantime i'll give the fans all the options and let them indicate their preferences for the club to continue racing"!

What a silly statement... he still owns the club, so is in a position to make guarantees, and it'd be a hell of a lot easier selling a functioning club rather than a defunct one, ask Mick Horton!
