I don't think he 'slagged' anyone, was a light hearted dig. Interesting though that he talked about a 'numbers game' (which is what I originally thought once Fricke was in the frame) whereas Lynn say he never wanted to be back. Both could of course be true at various points in the winter, as we know riders set out for the best deal they can get and play clubs off against eachother, and clubs can change their minds on their 1-7 if riders become available.

Adds a little spice to the East Anglian derbies if nothing else.

I just watched it too, and it seemed like a tongue in cheek sort of comment.I would have liked to see him back,as others have said he's been great as a star

Lawson is now at Ipswich, he knows the score there and understands he needs to throw some shade King's Lynn's way, it helps get fans on side. Especially after they've lost Emil & Jason as their top guys.

To be honest I don't think its a bad thing, its been a bit 'vanilla' the last few seasons, particularly Lynn's end, let's get a little bit of needle back to whet people's appetite.

I think Lawson has always divided opinion - never seems to be good mates with anyone else but he's a very reliable scorer.

There has been a health and safety issue been raised before the commencement of the home meeting against Ipswich. Apparently the pit gate has hinge and screw issues. The posts where the hinges attach has become rotten over the winter and the existing screws need to be removed as they are too long and sticking through. There is a grave possibility the meeting will be off as the replacements are being imported from China and may not be here in time.

If King's Lynn look to replace Scott (which they absolutely shouldn't), couldn't they just move Rushen to R/S & find someone more experienced at No6??

For me, wait for the 1st/2nd set of averages to come through and if someone is to be replaced, look at the No2 spots.

While we're in the KO Cup matches it has to be a stick with what we've got.

Presumably he has opted out of the RS scheme to take the No6 spot so I would expect that switch not to be an option

This is all hypothetical, but would it be in the rules? Rushen ups his average to above 5 (not likely to happen), gets dropped for Riss (on his Champ converted ave), then after missing 1 match, gets brought back as the RS in place of Scott?

Basically what Edinburgh did in 2009, when they dropped Wolbert for Tully (Wolbert must've been an injury replacement), then Dilger for Wolbert (something along those lines, my memory is fading a little on that situation).

I think he could be in the plans if it doesn't work out for our R/S.But I'm sure Scott will be given more time than just 2 matches.Mulford is local and in the Young Stars team.

Thanks Tel. I had been out and thought i had missed an announcement of some kind.:t:

In 2021 Ipswich’s number 2 Anders Rowe (5.49) guested in place of RS Josh Bates. Anders had opted out of the system, signing as Ipswich's reserve (Kemp being their RS). I questioned his eligibility and was told that due to him being on the list, he was free to hop in and out of the system. The tigers beat The Aces by 2 with Anders scoring paid 6 (Josh’s best score being 2).

There is a chance that this was cartel nonsense and once out of the RS system for the season that is that and it could just have been another verses Aces thing.
