Hamish McRaker
Unless i have missed something, Drew Kemp seems to have no team place at either UK level, so far. Are there any possibilities left, at this stage? I know he isnt exactly everyone's "cup of tea" (especially IainB!) but nonethless a young and improving British rider.
DJC
Perhaps the rumoured 'new team' will pick him up

Drew told me not riding Championship this season due to the logistics involved with him riding abroad. The 2 seasons he has been at Berwick he has been excellent both on and off the track improving both seasons. 2

Neila
Isn't he riding for a team from Latvia in the polish league? Said not doing championship due to travel issues getting to Latvia for weekend meetings
crescent girl
Since coming to Berwick, Drew has added over three points to his average, finishing the '25 season as #1. He has been a delight to deal with, on and off track, and if his (quite reasonable) ambitions of riding, and earning abroad had not prevented his racing in the Championship in '26 he would most certainly have been invited, and welcomed by the Bandits again. If he finds it possible to return at some time in the future, Berwick fans and management would most certainly be delighted.
TheWellBehavedWorrall
Big loss to Berwick and the Championship. I saw Drew at Shielfield last season against Glasgow and it was one of the strongest individual performances I’ve witnessed by an opposing rider. If memory serves me right, he was unbeaten by a visiting rider, albeit one engine failure/mechanical retirement.

Hawk127
In an article in the Star he says that he has signed for. Premiership club which will be announced at some stage but he is giving the Championship a miss. He also said”I still let my temper get the best of me sometimes when I’m racing. That’s a big issue that people have with me. I think people would be more annoyed if I didn’t care and that’s the thing, I think I care too much”

He does seem to have an attitude issue and I really do think he comes across that well in the article. Oh well, hopefully he will learn and channel everything into mastering his craft. He certainly worked out the fastest way round Shielfield and decent both home and away. Most fans would like to see him back in future.

Noelinho
Drew was very impressive last year - a very noticeable improvement. I had been sceptical, but he convinced me.
