Looks like we have a spammer on the forum

I'm sure I am not the only one who is thinking this but it looks like we have acquired a spammer on the forum. It is becoming very obvious that this individual comments practically every day on almost every subject in order to make sure they are seen. I'm not naming the poster but I'm sure you will all know who it it. There's nothing wrong in putting forward an opinion but the forum should not be a place for spamming. The moderators know who it is and should be taking action.

Using the "ignore user" option works.   You can also report spam posts to the moderators.  Alas there doesn't seem to be anybody moderating, so the "Ignore" option is your best bet.

There aren't any mods to moderate any content on this forum.The ones I've met have all given moderating up 😉

I use ignore on him but people keep quoting his posts so you see his inane ramblings. Personally think he adds nothing to the debates

Ive never put anyone on ignore but Im close to it, its having a detrimental effect on the forum IMO

Hover your cursor over the picture of the poster - a box will appear and "ignore" is at the bottom left of the box - click it and you're done!

I do agree with what you're saying and I think the poster should be able to post what he wants in reason on this forum.

But and its a big but, the forum has been totally saturated by the posts on what seems every single thread going.

Other posters don't want that and it puts them off both posting and visiting the site. The poster needs to calm down and not railroad every thread going.

Leave him alone. You do not have to read or comment on anything he posts. As has been said above, just ignore him if you so wish.
