Looking at this it’s difficult to see where his points are going to come from. Possibly heats 7 and 14 against Bangs? Depending on how well (or not) Bangs adapts to the track.

As I say, I understand why they’ve done it. What they lose on the terraces, they’ll probably end up recouping in streaming revenue and possibly even making a profit, but that won’t help the meeting day experience and atmosphere at the track. If you wanted to watch the Witches at Foxhall (barring the odd BSN fixture), then you had no choice but to attend. Now, you DO have a choice, and can save money in to the bargain. 

A stream can never beat being there.  I'm the same as Racing Jason 72 and buy streams for meetings I'd never be going to but attending those I can.

Normally up in the Whip Street Motors box between first and second bend, but our old box was leaking and was ripped out in the winter and replaced with a new one and the barstewards haven’t given me the keys yet so afraid I’m slumming it down with the rest of the peasants 😭😂🤪 so we’ll be down in front of the old garden bar. I’ll be the one wearing the black baseball cap 😉

Those I’m with will be bringing wives/kids so I’m the only one without anybody so would be good to have someone to talk to!

It doesn’t! I’ve already conceded that. Perhaps I worded that badly. The point I was making, is that it would undoubtedly WILL have an affect on attendance. That’s all I’m concerned about from a selfish point of view. I want to be amongst as many fans as possible from an atmosphere point of view. Was the play off final at Foxhall a thrilling spectacle? No. But the fact it was packed to the rafters made it an occasion that none of us there will forget. If streaming takes a few hundred off the gate, that makes a difference to the meetings day experience.

I’ve decided to sub to BSN this season after a year out, going to the celebration of speedway renewed my passion for the sport, living in Maldon, Ipswich Isn’t a million miles away and I keep saying to myself I must pop over there sometime but I can’t face the A12 and the big queues to get out afterwards.

So I may well buy the stream, as being ex Lakeside Richard and Jason are still my riders in a manner of speaking and I have always liked Musielak style of riding.

As others have said, streaming is great for those who were never likely to be their anyway.
