Tac sub 5-1 meant the scoreline flattered lynn imo, long long tail.

Decent first home performance throughout the team, Scotty will fair better when the track is grippier and he can work the bike and find different lines.

Understand the comments on the track getting slick and dusty quite quickly tonight but I don’t think there’s much more they can do with such a strong drying wind as this evening, it was well watered before the meeting and watered at each grading break, while dry and dusty towards the end it was consistent and smooth which is good to see.

It was pretty dry in heat one,, so was already onto a loser with the track, and from what I saw was only watered once during the meeting, although there was a lot of chatting with friends during breaks, so you may be right.

Rushen wasn't too far off the pace for a rider of his age with his Limited experience, and Scott looked decent in most races too, it was encouraging maybe wait until the half way point to judge.

Overall very cold, a few entertaining moments most of the crowd will go home happy with a win

Was watered after heat 4, heat 7 and at interval

KL got their number 1 and still got pumped by the weakest Ipswich side for years.

Hardly pumped. Despite having Fricke, they've got a similar problem to Ipswich in that they need others to be consistent. Castagna was frustratingly poor - and then popped out on the very dry surface to take a win, when Nicholls and Hellstrom-Bangs must have fancied their chances.

As with any match: same riders, different night = different result.

We live in Lewes, near Brighton, so no nearby speedways any more, it means a special trip for my wife and i to actually attend, a far cry from the 70's when we could (and did)go to meetings every day of the week in just LONDON, (Rye House on Sundays was streatching London a bit Ill admait)  Now we watch on TV, last season we watched 70 meetings on BSN aand club TV streams, this year, including the Aus season on BSN we are already at 10, so we are on target to beat last years total, Ipswitch tonight will make it 11 ,😁

Wroclaw Sparta meeting is live on You Tube tomorrow night.

Not able to attend tonight but good to see it went well for the Witches, great night for Edwards and a solid all round display for the rest really.  Always a concern to hear worries for KL on meeting no 1 as been there a few times.

Intrigued to hear about the big screen, also what was he presentation like without Kevin etc?

Expect to be there for the 23rd match v the new boys!

Was already starting to get a blue groove after heat 4,,which was a shame,, the wind defo played its part,, but when you start with a slick bald track, it's only gonna get worse very quickly. Hopefully once the weather is more consistent they can build the dirt up a bit

Shame isn’t the right word, a blue groove after 4 heats is an utter disgrace of track prep.

This league never learns does it

Track was awful tonight

Our track has never produced great racing but to prepare it the way the did was appalling … we was covered in dust on bend 2 from about heat 3 and couldn’t see some races properly

Great to get the win and to see certain riders go well ….imagine the uproar if King only scored 3 yet Scott gets away with it lol

Edwards was on fire and just needed to get Tom going …. PHB had bags of potential

Fricke is just a class act and Harris provided entertainment but the reserves as talented as they are will struggle against seasoned campaigners

The other gripe was the presentation …. Kevin Long was probably the best presenter in the whole league for a long time so whoever replaced him would have huge shoes to fill …. But the guy on the mic was awful …. bland and monotone … generated zero interaction with the fans …no ‘give us a w’…. mispronouncing riders names….

I know we have lost 2 entertaining riders in Doyle and Emil but this guy on the mic seriously needs to be changed

Nothing against the bloke personally as I don't know him,,, but his voice is just not what's needed for a presenter of an exciting sport. It's not his fault as that's his voice,,, but it's like you say, monotone,, perfect for sleep stories

Woeful. Kevin is a MASSIVE miss and every effort should be made to try and persuade him to return.

Kevin Long was there last night, working for Rerun Videos - I'm guessing he was doing interviews for the live stream?

The "new" presenter is Stephen Foster, who has done it before when Long was unavailable.  There was a big collective sigh when he was announced for 2026 - a great bloke, hugely experienced local radio presenter, but most definitely not a sports event announcer.

At least Mike Western's fluent Swedish gave us the correct pronunciation of Hellstrom-Bangs - it really is an amazing language 🙂

Despite the slick track I thought the racing was ok, seen far worse than yet over the years.

The stream was ok, it’s the first time so you have to allow for nerves as the lad presenting made a lot of mistakes, some down to lack of knowledge as he mentioned about Shane Parker when he was at Lynn but any long time fan knows Shane was first and foremost a Witch, and they did say they know improvements need to be made, they need better mics imo because the trackside ones couldn’t deal with the level of decibels very well.

and the referee daydreaming at the start of heat 8 it could have been a bit closer.

Yeah what the hell was that all about? Was shocked when the red lights didn’t come on! They literally ALL seemed to be moving
