I’m still waiting to see this gung ho swashbuckling rider who scrapes the boards and stretches the throttle cable attempting to get around riders (his own words). The first couple of meetings all I’ve seen is an inside/mid track steady Eddie who looks content to hold the place he’s occupying.

Now before anyone jumps on my back, of course it’s only two meetings in and he’s feeling his way in to British Speedway and getting used to things, but I’ll admit I was expecting a different style to what I’ve seen in the first couple of meetings.

Perhaps today is the day? The wide open spaces of the NSS should suit him down to the ground.

Or, perhaps clubs abroad already know what we don’t and he’s lost whatever early promise he showed early on in his career? Was it solely the suspension that put clubs off or was it something else? We’re about to find out I guess.

I thought Tate looked quite good in Aus over the winter so I'd expect him to get good results in the UK this year.

Tricky one to call this due to it being our last fixture before the German GP. Both Brady & Dan (and no doubt Norick) won’t trouble to scores too much as they will be concentrating of their forthcoming world championship bid. I’ll go for a narrow witches victory sealed in a heat fifteen advantage.

Above post produced by AI when asking for a prediction using BSF as source material.

Ah it’s only at the end of the season that Kurtz didn’t try at Foxhall I’m sure he will be fine at this early stage …. You can’t really put Bewley and trying in the same sentence as Kurtz as Bewley puts 110% into very meeting

Should be an absolute walk in the park for Belle Vue this one

Legends like Doyle and Emil have gone to be replaced by Lawson who hates the place and Musielek who had 12 races there last season and scored 7 each time

We have no Ellis who also goes well there and he is replaced by Nicholls who by his own admission can’t ride Belle Vue and is possibly worse at Belle Vue then riders like Blodorn and Cook are at Foxhall which is hard to believe

Kurtz and Bewley should max out easily

Cook and Blodorn go well at home as does Tate

This will be the worst track for Ipswich all season to go to ….. and the same for Belle Vue at our place…. Trouble is this time we don’t have replaced riders that used to go ok at Belle Vue with riders who don’t

I can see Belle Vue getting 55 minimum tonight

Back at Foxhall the class of Bewley and Kurtz will keep it closer than previous meetings and we may if lucky get 48-50 at home

I can see a fairly comfortable home win.  54-36

Ipswich missing Doyle and Sayfutdinov is a hugely different team.      Brennan, Musielak, King and Lawson can all perform OK at the N.S.S., but they will all need to be on form togerher.

Hellstrom-Bangs could be a big scorer at reserve.   He really wanted to be riding for Belle Vue ahead of any other British club, so tonight is his chance to show them they were wrong when he was begging them for a team place.

Advance sales look poor, probably the lowest I have seen in the Grandstand.

Blocks A and B are usually three quarters full by now, I would say one third full at best currently...

And seats behind the tapes are a fifth full at best...

There is even South Stand Car Parking available which usually goes a few days before the meeting..

BSN impacting maybe?

There isn't any real threat of rain (admittedly it is Manchester:D)..

Hopefully the South Stand is full given it is a whole £2 cheaper...

To be honest £50 for a couple to stand watching Speedway does seem to be a tad too much...

Some shocking posts about Tate and using him to have a weak pop at the club as a whole lacks class. This lad was showing bags of promise before his awful crash, a crash that saw his bike dismantled whilst he was still impaled on it. There’s a few posters on here who delight in sticking the knife in with comments like “sick note” and “turd” for riders still working through the after effects for racing injuries. It’s a special kind of scum that gets their kicks that way.

And you got four likes well done LOL. How many riders suffer injuries? The answer is ALL of them. Zischke returned on the bare minimum 3 average, what was the British rider sacrificed averaging before he was sent on the scrap heap? Kerr (another Brit) was also told to fu*k off. Ah good old Belle Vue. The hose wanderers who can flood a track to get meetings called off because a fixture doesn’t suit them.

Is Bangs expensive have a feeling it was mentioned in the past he had learned from Picko when it came to charging just thinking Ippo coming in late but with a bit of money behind him might have been the only team to meet his demands.

Kerr's never ridden for Belle Vue, he's also been on the injury list more than off it (bar last year).

Zischke came in for Mountain (4.36 in the prem) and at the time was averaging 2 points higher than him in the Championship in what was his first season over here so a change that on paper could improve their side. Unfortunately he only lasted 1 meeting before his bad crash and Belle Vue unlike most teams, have stayed loyal believing he will come good again.

What British rider would come in on a 3 that would score more this season around Belle Vue?

Ipswich fans were saying that Zack Cook was much better at Foxhall than his brother who he replaced for the Aces at the time.
