Tai's family need to step in and convince him to retire, I love Tai and he's one of my all time favourites but somebody above is trying to tell him something with all of these broken bones and injuries year after year.

I'm a believer in fate and the signs from above are telling him to call it a day before it's too late.

Tai's got nothing left to prove, Whether you love him or hate him personality wise, He's a multiple World Champion and one of the Best British Riders of all time and nobody can ever take that away from him.

Common sense has to prevail instead of chasing something that isn't a reality anymore, The reality is that Tai can't get through a full season anymore and it's just broken bones after broken bones and surgery after surgery with no end in sight.

I think there is a lot in what you say but s/way riders are different from us mere mortals ,Tai has to come to the decision himself personally I think he will never return to level he was prior to these recent crashes .

I totally agree, while he still has some chance of a healthy happy retirement without too many aches and pains. He must be minted enough to call it a day and maybe dip his toe in a different safer field like his dj'ing.

But are his crashes and injuries due to bad luck or the crazy erratic bikes they race these days? There's so many riders getting injured unless it's just publicised more that it seems like one of the most dangerous sports out there.

Quite possibly and you also have less experienced riders on uber powerful bikes, I've never been a fan of the old swearer but can't deny his grit and determination even prior to that awful last big crash he was no longer at the very top table.

Equally when riding for Sheffield he could beat 99% of the UK riders in his sleep like he was going round the track in an arm chair with a cigar on the go.

He probably is the kind of fella if given total power could make a go of turning the sport round but equally you could see him getting frustrated very early doors with the current caretakers letting out a war cry of two words beginning with f and followed by c and walking out the door.
