Bitza
So next up for the Pirates.....the Monarchs(&visa versa) should be a great night of speedway, but who will come out on top? Edinburgh not having Dan Thompson and Poole having Tate Zishcke as a guest. This could prove to be really telling result for the rest of the season. Personally I think Edinburgh are going to do well in 2026, certainly the most successful Scottish club?! What do you think? From past interviews Zach and Kyle not overly keen on Edinburgh track. A lot could depend on who is in for Dan. Try to keep it within 8? Monarchs call on Bomber Harris for Thompson while Pirates have Zischke for Bowes. Armadale is not everyone's favourite track and Edinburgh have had a fairly solid start. It'll be a close run thing I reckon....
Mr Blobby
The usuals starting earlier with the not keen on Armadale and not sure we’ll win. If you genuinely don’t think Poole will win tomorrow you’re on drugs. Tate huge upgrade on Bowes who would struggle to beat any of the NDL team as can’t get round the place compared to Tate who will be good for about 6 points. Top 5 should be pretty even but the Poole reserves will clean up no bother all all.
TheWellBehavedWorrall
Monarchs firm favourites. Quite frankly embarrassing if they don’t win.

Agree if Poole reserves don’t go overboard and throw points away they should out score Monarchs reserves. Not sure how many times they have been round Armadale.!? Is it the layout, the surface, track prep, what? From previous threads I do know it's not the chips, best avoided apparently.

It’s a speedway track that requires a nice bit of throttle control and skill which seems to be beyond a lot of modern day riders with bikes that require it.

A fair few times in their youth days - in fact I think Cairns rode a few times for one of the Armadale National Junior League sides. And both have been good on NDL visits last year - Cairns with an 18 point maximum. They'll both do well tomorrow, I think. 2

From previous threads I do know it's not the chips, best avoided apparently. It's mostly the shape, the surface is usually well prepared. It's a small track with tight turns that require riders to turn the bike hard, which many are not used to. If there's a little too much dirt or it's greasy then it can be even more difficult, especially for newbies.

Cooper's last meeting at reserve, so he'll be in the 1-5 for the return on 10th.

szkocjasid
Poole strengthened without Bowes, Harris is a decent guest for Edinburgh, but I'd prefer Dan T. Fancy Poole to win. Edited May 29 by szkocjasid

Steve Shovlar
Cooper struggled in his first two. Will was good. Cooper needs a good third or might lose his last ride to Will.
ASpeedwayfan
Disappointing to lose in the last heat but a great meeting, enjoyed the stream throughly. Great result for Edinburgh and a good result for Poole.

I said it would be a close run thing, but Pirates will take that to the 10th.
