Won’t be a bomber track tonight though, even if there is shale down, trying to keep moisture in it will be almost impossible, and once the inside turns into a blue groove watering because too much of a hazard.

Agree, Conditions shouldn't suit Bomber tonight.

I think Richard Lawson might be the star of the show tonight, Track should suit him more than anyone else.

Let's hope Richard is over the injury that kept him out of last night's Danish meeting!?😇😇

I see Poland taking priority again despite it being an official league meeting on a Thursday not a re-arranged meeting or a cup meeting.

This is the R1 fixture rearranged from the rain-off in May. Poland takes priority because their fixture was (re)arranged first.  You should moan to the BSPA/L or the Promoters: 10 home league matches in six months is a hectic schedule to sort out, and they shouldn't have committed to such a difficult task 😝

If you are suggesting that Bomber is a throttle jockey who can't ride small tracks you can't possibly be doing so with a straight face. Dear me.

I think he's turned into something of a "throttle-jockey" (don't like the term) in recent years - he's much less interested if tracks are dry and slick, unless he makes a start. Certainly he's much more hit and miss, even in the Championship.

I don’t think anyone can call Kurtz or Harris throttle jockeys lol

Harris loves the dirt but doesn’t do well at Foxhall usually

And Kurtz can ride Foxhall he has scored double figures a few times and I expect him to tonight with ease with not GP on the line at the weekend

Track looks like it well watered but the dreaded Clay has been mentioned so we shall have to wait and see if this actually provides an outside line.

Tracks not very good so far boys bouncing all over the place.

Never will Belle Vue have a better chance to beat a full strength Ipswich at Foxhall

R/R for a rider who can’t ride the place is a help…. Does Doyle get a ride?

A much weaker Ipswich side than last season ….plus the aces are stronger at Foxhall with Doyle instead of Bewley and no Lidsey

Will the Kurtz who didn’t try in the play offs show up or will he be on it as there is no GP for 2 weeks

50-40 Aces

Very Shovlaresque 😉

Are they really playing "Motorbikin'" from 1976 over the pa at Foxhole?

It's so easy to create a jingle these days... just type something like this into Gemini:

"Create me a jingle to play when speedway rider [RIDER NAME] wins a race at Ipswich speedway in the style of [ARTIST]"

Don’t you know that British speedway all clubbed together in 1977 and bought an album ( Smashey & Niceys poptastic hits)? Cassettes were made and these were passed to all clubs.

why change anything? I mean it’s only been 50 years

It wasn't even Shawn Moran's version
