Batch gets a lot of hate on all public forums/social media platforms.

As a comets fan, I dont have a bad word to say about him. Yes its frustrating when he pulls up at the back, but the guy has quite often saved us from being an embarrassment over the last couple of seasons. He hasnt missed a single meeting for us and often scores 8+ points a meeting.

We would have had a lot of thrashings last season, more so than we got, if it weren't for batch.

Can you keep him up there whenever we have a meeting please. 🙏

Batch is Batch he’s like marmite love him or hate him and he hasn’t endeared himself to fans over the years me included. He is not professional, he’s arrogant, he’s not a team man and he doesn’t give a 🤬.

He has a bad rep in speedway and not just the UK. According to Batch he only wants to win races and isn’t interested in coming 2nd or 3rd. As a fan I can’t support riders like him that do not try, let alone does wheelies at the back instead f doing what he is paid to do i.e. score points!

Obviously you have not seen him ride for the Comets many times he has kept us in the meeting or help us win, yes he does have off times but most riders do, look at klindt 😜

Or when he was at Ipswich - he was the top BP scorer!

Well unless batch ride abroad between Mondays meeting and Thursday afternoon, ( I can’t  find any such meeting), I want to know when this knee injury occurred. He certainly had no injury after Mondays meeting

the club announced the team line up twice on Thursday , including Batch

the official report from the club on last  night’s meeting makes it clear it was a last minute change of plans.

was batch genuinely injured  and if so , we fans deserve   to know when snd how or, did he simply decide he wasn’t available?

if he simply decided not to ride and let the club down at the last minute, he should be sacked immediately even if it meant us having to sign a ride as inexperienced as Freddy hodder who at least wants to ride and, learn snd develop

don’t treat us like mushrooms.

Batchelor definitely threw the Northampton team under the bus last night.  Know he hates riding Owlerton (as was clearly seen in his 2021 season there) giving them just about zero opportunity to get a suitable replacement is a disgrace.  They’d be better binning him off after that and picking up an available Championship rider to take his place (Sedgmen, Allen, McDiarmid, Mountain even Kennett)

Batchelor has aggrevated an years old left knee torn ligament injury riding the last few weeks at Northampton. Ultimately it's flared up over the last few weeks riding on a rough surface.

Comets team boss has confirmed that is the case in a local interview, this weekend is due to be the first meetings he's ever missed in 3 seasons riding for the Comets.

Some riders just seem to get more grief than others...

Which is strange, given these riders take up two team places that, otherwise, both their teams would struggle to fill with someone of their capability...

Some people just ‘assume’ and it helps confirm their biases!
