Riders, of a certain level, know they are far too much in demand to have any real sanction against them... And, in a sport with so little to "play for" I am not sure why bans are in place, given it is the rider who hasn't earned money, so he is the main loser due to the situation.. This story about babysitting duties does not crop up that late in the day its just a good story to go with without getting a suspension. There isn't any time pressure on being seen to by the medics as far as I am aware. Surely he should have been replaced? Can only assume he insisted on giving it a go, but surely he is experienced enough to know he wasn't going to be able to do it? Gave up a guaranteed point for no reason. The vast majority of Ipswich want YOU gone! Poole fans see him as their number 1 who top scores most meetings in most track conditions.
