RS50
I'm wondering why Northampton. No association between them and Woffy that I know of. If the teams he has been involved with, that are still operating, Scunthorpe and Sheffield are the ones I first thought of.

Probably due to location and the capacity the crowd could be, lots more fans can fit in Northampton than Sheffield or Scunthorpe
PC63
Centrally located, very well organised on race nights and probably the best supported track in the premiership, what is not to loveđ

oleoleole
The Cobblers are at home that day so it will have to be a sharp exit to get there on time.

Can't see the many fans that will travel to the speedway will care too much about the football being at home or not

Itâs not a big problem but will have to get away from Sixfields quickly and hope there arenât big queues getting in to Brafield.

OldHawk
Well i'm not surprised but still disappointed that the line up appears to contain no one you cant see any day of the week in the UK. Hopefully the last few still to be announced will make it special. đ¤

You can't have a simple opinion on the sport without first having been a rider/promoter/organiser/anyone of any self-perceived importance (delete as applicable). The guy makes a perfectly reasonable point. In fact, they don't even criticise the line up, just that they're disappointed it's not better. This is basically a farewell to one of Britain's best ever riders, I don't think it's unreasonable to have expected a better line up - regardless of whether you're running the meeting, the burger van, or nothing at all.

Unfortunately due to the new rules of bringing things into the country from Europe, especially for a one off event, you have to jump through hoops to be able to do this, probably why, so far no very top class foreign riders have been announced. When the riders bring themselves and equipment to the British GP, this is classed as a world event, so it's slightly easier to bring in equipment
