I think he was and he's been doing regular laps around Lynn for several years, and has talked about his good relationship with the promotion and his love of the track.

All that said he's a free agent on October 31st like everyone else and could sign for whoever he wants for 2027. You would like to think Buster would move heaven and earth to keep him though.

If Mayfield can't offer a better deal for Lambo than Buster Chapman then it's a major red flag for me.

Lambert has to ride in Britain to get his British license to ride in Poland, He could opt to ride on a German license but that would mean that he can't ride for Team GB wouldn't it????

Not really Zmarzlik or Lambert paired with Woryna wouldn’t be much different to what Doyle & Emil cost.

Possibly more Guy offering a better deal than Buster assuming he's back helping Ippo in 2027, Buster isn't short of a quid it all comes down to if he's willing to dip into his retirement pot.

I bet there will end up being some sort of caviat put in place, stating that if a rider is based in Poland then he doesn’t have to race British league or something silly like that, there’s already been kick back from riders about all this,

Bewley commented on a post on twitter last night saying it’s ridiculous and they shouldn’t be forced to do anything, he compared it to modern day slavery !

I imagine that Lambo's price tag will be at an all time high now with him being the World Champion.

I could see Lambert at King's Lynn where Buster spends his entire budget on him but then puts out a losing team with 6 riders on the cheap, Would Lynn fans accept that though?

Where's Ipswich do need Leaders and if Doyle is plan B then someone big must be plan A like a Lambert or Sayfutdinov.

I agree that riders shouldn't be forced into doing anything, It's wrong for sure.

Poland will always dictate though and if riders want the top Zloty on offer then they have no choice but to basically hand their career's over to the Polish Clubs.

Someone on here did mention rumour of BSPL possibly chipping in for a bit of Lamberts contract, I reckon if he does come back it will be Ippo with the UK Gp being held there in 2027.
