According to the current regulations on assessed riders i still make nilsson a 4.50

Doyle, Kemp, King, Nilsson, Bewley, Cairns, Foord

Current guess based on these forums rumours anyway 😂 fits 37

That's the 1-7 I want tbh, I just hope Nilsson is a 4.50.

I don't believe Mayfield would get rid of Brennan for Nilsson in a straight swap so Kim may very well be a 4.50.

It’s a grey area, but would that team with Riss fit instead of Kemp? The most recent average is used, Riss didn’t ride in the Premiership, but did a couple I think in the Championship. Would that mean it’s his Championship average converted, or his Premiership average with Oxford from 2025?

If it’s his Championship converted average, he fits. Risky yes, but he’s declared himself fit and over his vision issues but that’s been said before.

Riss would be available on a 5.05 ave. As long as he rides one league match in the Prem he'd revert to his rolling ave from 2025 (6.93) so if he did suffer from illness again, which we hope he wouldn't, Ipswich would have more scope for a replacement.

47.30 in to the programme.

Richard Coleman on radio Suffolk on Saturday. Team updates, track updates, GP and general Premiership 2027.

Interestingly, he says the points limit has been set at 40 points..

Edit: You’ll need a BBC account to login and listen

Just had a listen, Coleman kept saying Championship, I hope it was a slip of the tongue and he meant Premiership

If the PREM is a 40.00 Limit.

Coincidence that Woryna would still fit with Doyle and Bewley and it would also explain Brennan's departure.

1. J. Doyle 8.62

2. D. Kemp 4.92, C. Rushen 4.74 or K. Nilsson 4.50????

3. K. Woryna 7.50

3. D. King 7.17

5. D. Bewley 8.56

6. W. Cairns 3.00

7. V. Foord (RS)

= 39.77 / 39.59 / 39.35

Surely Riss would be too much of a risk? I can’t remember if it was speculation or fact but I read last year that flying exasperated his condition.

Seems like he almost all but confirms Doyle and another big hitter to back him up with king in the side. Suggests some of the rumours aren’t too wide of the mark. Rest of the side will depend on the team points linit

I think when he said championship he was referring to the "trophy" rather than the league with the same name.

He was talking about the new rule for 2 u21 riders, have a number 1 in top 5/6 of the world thats only going to be the Premiership

Interesting if 40 as all these rumoured teams must be wrong as fit to 37

Both Leicester and Northampton 1-7's are bult to a 37.00 Limit because Lion Tamer is a Tier 1 ITK and we already know the Foxes 1-7 from various bits of info from multiple ITK's.

Unless the RS average is going to count towards the limit now?

Either that or he may have simply made an error and counted rising stars as a 3 point rider and it’s still 37 for the other 6.

A points limit either way has obviously been agreed and as ever, us plebs who pay our money to keep the sport running in this Country, are left to second guess what it is by analysing any little snippets we hear!

It's on a need to know basis...

And, it would appear, your punters obviously don't need to know..

That "Speedway United" marketing thing being put together has its work cut out doesn't it?..😁

It’s perplexing it’s so cloak and dagger and yet another missed opportunity in the long list. Look at football for example transfer silly season gets its own special segments for rumours and team building. You go down the pub and you talk about transfer rumours with your mates and it keeps the sport alive in the off season. Same with any big successful sport.

Speedway is no different. Look at the metrics on the forum for example. The most popular and active threads are always the team building ones. The most traffic is generally the off season for us die hard looking for rumours on rider signings. Speedway is in a unique position where is essentially a new team from scratch every year. However, instead of building on the mystery and intrigue to generate fan discussion they treat us with the usual contempt. Can’t even give us a concrete answer on a points limit for fans to put together their preferred sides and properly discuss outside the the ITK snippets we get.

its baffling.

The only reason I can imagine for their reticence is that so much of the decisions they make, subsequently, and usually quickly, get highlighted as unfit for purpose, or better solutions get put forward, when they get scrutinised by the wider public...

Within minutes, on here, usually someone states chapter and verse on why a decision made contravenes certain rules and regs, eg several times announced guest riders get changed due to not being eligible after it getting challenged on here.. ...:D

You also have the caveat of "in the interest of Speedway" to add in as and when needed, which quite frankly is an embarrassment in a so called professional sport isn't it?..

I can't think of any other pro sport where "as we haven't made rules and regs fit for purpose in this instance, we'll just make something up" is allowed, and, fundamentally part of an operating model...

It can't be too difficult to put out a database of riders, wishing to ride over here, with their averages can it?.

Or maybe that would open a huge can of worms!!!:D

Edit:  You would really have thought something all sorted by last July would have been made public by now though wouldn't you?.......;)

Just had a listen.

So, it’s Doyle plus ‘one of the top six in the world’. Does that definition encompass Bewley? I suppose it does if you look at it over two years but, on a narrower definition it covers Lambert, Zmarzlik, Jepsen Jensen, Dudek and Madsen. I haven’t included Kurtz as I can’t believe that he will be anywhere other than Belle Vue.

King will be back and Hurry remains as the Team Manager.
