Speedway history books The trouble with uk speedway is clear and simple. Personally as for next year I’d take Toby back in two minds about Tom part of me thinks he is a bargain on his average, the other parts isn’t so sure. As for Danny again on the fence had a very good season however could be a risk on his average if the league is stronger. If the points limit stays the same again his average might go against him. Id also personally try & get scott involved as team manager. I highlighted the point about Scotty as TM last night as well, The more I think about it, The more I like the idea tbh. Has the respect of his fellow pro's, Knows the Club and British Speedway inside out and I can't think of anyone better to help bring on younger team members with his knowledge and experience tbh. Not an unexpected result and don't expect to see many passes next week in the return leg watched by one man and his dog as it's a forgone conclusion. Became obvious very quickly though with the improvements from Blodorn/Zischke while other teams hit a brick wall when it comes to key riders. Belle Vue acted while others didn't when snapping up Doyley. Sheffield lost Jack and decided to pin their hopes on King's Lynn missing out on 4th place when running R/R with a vision to using Fricke for the play-offs (Gamble paid off). King's Lynn will always be King's Lynn and they've even made Fricke underperform from Day 1 (Club must be a curse) Brennan got abducted by aliens in April and hasn't been seen for 6 Months leading to Ipswich becoming a 2 Man Team most weeks. Masters has had a terrible season for the Lions when they needed him to step up when signed as the No.5. Belle Vue can only beat what's in front of them though and credit to them, Deserved Champions.
