mogmacrash
A lot of those special edition £10 caps have to be sold to make a dent in the required air fence figure. Hopefully a cashed up speedway fan or local businesses will help out, or maybe the bar bandits will get a few new members joining in the frivolities next Saturday. I'd like to think a regular championship venue will not close because of this? Edited Sunday at 04:08 AM by mogmacrash

marko Posted yesterday at 11:48 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:48 AM I thought Plymouth were supposed to be getting really good gates this season? Where has the money gone? seriously though, maybe they would be better off being a Nora track/training track? I’m no fan of it but if you can teach youngsters to ride Plymouth, they can ride anywhere.

Gates have been much improved but fell short of a 46k profit unfortunately.
Fozzie4388 Posted yesterday at 02:12 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:12 PM I presume Klima won't be riding as he's been listed in the Czechs team for the Euro Pairs on Saturday

You may not like it but plenty do including 7 times British champion and quite a few top riders at championship level. British speedway can ill afford to lose any track despite your opinion.

Bandits supporters will have fingers crossed this week -- Jordan Jenkins rides tonight and tomorrow, PK and Jye Etheridge are in Thursday's Premier play-off and Nick Morris is guesting for Glasgow at Edinburgh on Friday night. A real spirit of adventure among those of the black and gold persuasion now, with quite a few choosing to join the trophy quest, the grand expedition to Devon. Saturday Night Fever! Agree we have to go back to basics and rebuild the sport and make it credible so that fans can see it means something to win a Trophy.

Sentiment dictates we can’t afford to lose another track, reality suggests it’s going to be a constant struggle to keep a lot of venues open financially. But in the case of Plymouth, if 500 of their fans donated 100 pounds to the club that would pay for a new fence and a bit more. Also my opinion on the track has no bearing on whether it will be around next season, that will be down to your fans or your promoter to find the money. Jack is injured, did you miss the novel about his hip? Had to be lifted on the bike in the first leg, has been to pre op for his hip. He has said he is injured but completely willing to ride. I think even if we wanted a guest we wouldn’t get away with it. I fully expect Jack to be riding. His away record is terrible everywhere but I fully expect he will be a bandit in 27. It's OK being not fit and riding the big track at berwick but a different thing trying to get round the Plymouth polo mint size track unfit . Probably any guest better than jack

And win or lose he is part of the team and I’d rather we have this meeting without guests.
