I think the fact Berwick have a 100 percent record at home proves fans will turn up to watch a winning side at home. Throw in a cup final after knocking out the league champions elect as well and its no wonder the crowd was big. 
 

Fans dont care about the racing on the whole , they want to see their team win. 
 

Exeter were proof of this, great spectacle of a track with you being so close to the action but mainly gate and go, heavy home wins every week and they had good crowds right up until they shut despite usually being rubbish away from home.

Morris will be one of the signings of the season next year I am sure, he has been flying the second half of the season.

And in the days before the internet and streaming you never saw your team race away unless you actually went, home wins were the key as only a very tiny percentage of fans went to away matches unless it was a local derby.

Winning at home will always be important to maintain crowds, Exeter was always about winning at home by as much as they can and hoping it would be enough to seal the bonus point which it often was.

Certainly under a play off format, winning all your home matches and collecting all the bonus points should see you qualify.

Could you ask Poole why they scored 57 points against Edinburgh?

I would have liked a 8-10 point lead for Poole to make the second leg more interesting.

Specsavers for you there was at least 400/500 on the back strait/3rd bend alone.It wasn’t poor entertainment if you were there with the atmosphere(just like Poole).

I was a "neutral" watching the Poole v Edinburgh match also (just like you were on Saturday).
