Scunthorpe 2027

Recommended Posts

Personally think it's time Mountain moved on his career has stalled and like Harrison needs to get away from Scunthorpe for a while and ply his trade elsewhere.

I wouldn't bother with Ablitt either with the average he has he'd start more then likely in the Top 5 and he isn't consistent enough to warrant a chance yet again on an average that the points could be used elsewhere.

Pickering if he wants it and Ingram (if he finally improves on away tracks) are the only 2 from the 2026 team worth continuing with (Although Palm Toft would be a decent signing if you could guarantee a season of the way he rode in the Playoff final but he's a bit of an enigma).

Zischke would be a fantastic signing but he'll probably end up at Glasgow were the money is.

There's money at Scunny if they can afford Picko.

  1. Josh Pickering 10.64
  2. Edward Kennet 4.62
  3. Michael Palm Toft 6.05
  4. Connor Mountain 5.25
  5. Tate Zischke 6.54
  6. Vinnie Foord 3.30
  7. Ryan Ingram 3.55

                               39.95

That’s along the lines of what I’m thinking. Perhaps Gilkes instead of Kennett and maybe Allen instead of Zischke if we can’t get Zischke

Allen instead of palmsoft and hunt for another rider for mountain’s replacement , better team than last year imb

So today is the day of first signing announcement. I’m hoping it’s a big statement signing in retaining Josh Pickering, but we will have to see!

I hope you’re right 🤞

Kennedy brothers rumoured to be coming back

I wouldn’t mind the Kennedy brothers back however having one season in the UK and then one season not really riding can’t be that helpful for development - which seems to be how Zaine’s career is going. Albeit I understand this season it probably wasn’t their choosing to not ride
