I don't think he was, even though it has worked out that way. Bomber did have a below par season, with some bike problems early on, but I don't think that there was a lack of effort on his part and there did appear to be genuine frustration with some of his below par heat results.

I think part of the issue was that more teams this year adjusted their track prep to have less shale on it than normal to hinder Bomber's over taking chances when Glasgow visited.

8.64 with 2.5% off? Pretty much half the points on 2 riders 👀. Be interesting what they do with bottom half of the team.

Well if other teams are worried about Oxford and Glasgow top end strength then they could still do a u turn at agm yet and go for 38!
