I exchanged a few posts with the lady in the past, which were always polite. I think I am right in saying she hasn't been on here for a while? But understandable.

RIP and condolences to Shazzybird's family.

Very sorry to hear that.

If there were such a thing as a BSF Hall of Fame, Shazzybird would be an absolute shoe-in.

Condolences to all her close friends and family.

Like many I never actually met her but I can remember way back in the old days having some fun speedway convos in a chat room that speedway folk used to use...

Very shocked to hear this news, condolences to family and friends.

Only met snazzy a couple of times and exchanged a few texts and emails but feel like I've lost a good friend. Smashing lass who wasn't afraid to speak her mind and loved her speedway. She'll be greatly missed

Really sad news I used to have a lot of banter with her on here years ago. She was always a good laugh. My thoughts are with her family.

So sorry to hear this. As well as discussing many topics on the Forum, we met up several times at Cardiff and other speedway related functions including once when she proudly introduced me to her uncle Ted.

We didn't always agree but our disagreements were always carried out in a friendly way without the rancour that now seemes to creep into more and more arguments here. There is no doubt she was very passionate about her speedway and will be very sadly missed.

My condolences to all her family and friends.

One of the original "Web sliders" & she was certainly original.

Good to see tributes from a lot of the old posters, nice to know they still look at the site even if, like me, rarely post.

So farewell Shazzy, enjoyed your posts all those years ago. RIP.
