Play-off Q/F - Scunthorpe v Leicester - Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd October

I think the sooner the speedway season is over, the better. This extra round of playoffs has been unnecessary and is only serving to drag things out, weather fast deteriorating, rider availability problems, and the fuel crisis is bound to have an impact as it carries on for a few more weeks at least.

It's time for a decision to be made, which is to reduce it down to a Poole v Glasgow final, and the KOCup final if possible. Otherwise the risk of it all going into chaos is too high

I will be amazed if Leicesters home leg is on this weekend. Weather looks terrible.

Lets just hope that Connor and Adam do not pick up any injuries tonight at Sheffield, or we will be further in the mire.

It's R/R for Jorgensen, Kasper Andersen for Aarnio & Connor Mountain at reserve for Pijper , according to Lions website.

Is Pijper injured?

Suspended. Sounds like him and one of his kids got into a scrap at youth championship

Absolutely shocking that they can suspend a rider without taking a statement from him.

Theo was there as a parent. If he was say a bus driver would his employers have suspended him?

Yeah totally agree. Never found Theo to be anything but a genuine mild mannered guy. Seems totally out of character whats alleged

The loss of Jorgensen sees Leicester through. Massive loss for Scunthorpe.

I agree and Tero was punching well above his average at the EWR.
